Are the sports book's even open right now? If so what is there to bet on other than racing and baseball from Asia?

The other day, the MGM sports book was open, although it only looked like you could bet on horse racing. There were no live agents at the windows, you had to place your bets through betting terminals they had set up

Thanks, that's good to know. I still think I'll be opening an online account when I get to the Wynn in August. Seems the right thing to do.

Caesars Palace book was open Saturday with two kiosks and several windows open. We were there to bet the Belmont. The big board was scrolling futures for NBA & NFL champions but I didn't ask if they were actually taking bets.

Bellagio up and running. Was there for Belmont-the room was full, several tellers and decent cocktail servers. They were very generous with the drink coupons, too.
For those who are horseplayers, none of the Vegas sports books were able to show or take bets for Churchill-some contract thing. Hope they get that figured out before the Derby.

So, Gamine vs. Tizthelaw? Her race was phenomenal (as was his) and she is now probably the best 3-year old in Baffert's barn. Maybe they'll square off in the Travers. Strikes me that the Travers is an interesting race, still being run a 1 1/4 mile. I wonder if Tagg will even run there given the Derby and Preakness will still be ahead and maybe his goal is the triple crown?

Well that sucks. Thanks for the heads up, though. Guess I'll have to make sure my Twin Spires account is ready to go even when I'm in Vegas for the Derby.

Caesar's Elizabeth(IN) was closed. I went to the cashier cage, and they told me I could not redeem my season total games won baseball bet yet. Still "pending!" Even if the Reds go 60-0 they won't be near the total I picked. Makes no sense......

I saw a national cornhole competition on tv the other day. Not sure if those make the sheet.
