We stayed in a Luxor Tower suite with ample soap, they even left a bar of soap at the wet bar sink area. HK put out all new/extra soaps after cleaning. Agree the tower room could use a refresh, but found it very comfortable and very quiet.

You'd love the huge bars of soap at Cosmo!
I don't recall receiving two bath bars there, though has been a while.

When I play in the HL room I will just sit there and not play until I have a drink. If my drink goes empty it is the same story, I just sit there until I have a drink. After once or twice they get the idea. If not I basically let them know I am leaving because when I gamble at that level I expect better service than when I am on the floor.

I don’t care for those dispensers in the shower. We have stayed at our local Harrah’s and often times the dispensers are mislabeled…you are left trying to decide which one of the two labeled “Clean Hair”. Is actually the shampoo. We just pack our own soap and shampoo now.

I'm not a fan of hotel soaps/shampoos in general and bring my own. I definitely have learned not to use the bulk soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower after an um, incident, at my gym a few years back. I won't go into details, but I don't know who else has used those, and I'm not sure what else they may have put in there. By "they" I mean guests, not staff.

I shudder to think... or tremble?....

It's the law in CA. I've only encountered it 2-3 places, I think it's still in implementation phase. Marriott seems to be further along, and their dispensers say Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash.... and they're locked in place on shower wall, tamper-proof.

I didn't realize that about CA, I go there often but stay with friends. Glad to hear they have a way of tamper proofing, but I think I'll stick with bringing my own ;)

I dont think it has been open at all since the shutdown last year, but hopefully it comes back in the near future. Very cool and less common thing. I've been on some pretty crowded holidays and one non descript random week in spring and I've never seen it open since pre-plague days. Main center bar with VP has been open every time and the Aurora up by checkin has been open last few trips but more limited hours. Just not the HL VP bar.

Nice wrap up! Sorry I didn't keep up with touching base with you. Good to know about Park MGM HL! Is the drink service there good? Haha

We had a decent time at the "West Bar" one night. 6/5 Bonus STP for nickels (on 10 play only, but I only played 4 lines) is a fairly low variance route for comped drinks. Haha
