I received an email from the South Point there were some nights for $49 and 59 which I think is a fairly decent rate(s). I was there last August and enjoyed my stay. Slots were a little tight.

Got a new offer, code EDEAL29. You get an upgrade to a premium room and 2 cocktails by the pool. Not worth much, IMO. For stays 3/27-9/11, book by 4/5, and yes the resort fee $21 will be added.

I got an email a few weeks ago for a free room offer for entering their NASCAR related sweeps this year. Blacked out for weekends, but... If I can't take advantage of it this year, I will certainly enter the sweeps again next year if offered. Thanks for the info

Just returned from a week in Vegas. Stayed at Flamingo, rented a car and checked out a few off strip casinos. South Point was our favorite! Only casino where the slots gave us ANY play. (Walked out with more than we went in with). Great Breakfast in their cafe. Was wondering what their hotel is like?

Our last trip to Vegas, about two years ago, we stayed at South Point for 3 nights during Memorial Day weekend.

We stayed in a regular King room before they did the remodeling. The room was quiet and plenty of room for the two of us (I think around 500+/- sf). We didn’t have much of a view, but we weren’t there to look out the window! The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not good enough for me (I’m a pillow snob).

The pool was quiet, relaxing, and hardly anyone at it the several times we went. I remember it was around 100-105 degrees one of the days but the water was cold.

The hotel is very nice. Larger rooms than standard, separate sink from toilet and shower. Remodeled rooms include a mini-fridge. Highly recommend. Try doing a search for my trip report from last fall to see some pictures.
