    My Trip Report

Gonna do my best to provide updates, but who knows how that will play out. Flying Alaska out of PDX at 11am, tomorrow, 3 nights comped upfront (upgraded to 1500sqft luxury suite because I asked nicely), $40 in FP and $100 in resort credits. Meeting a good friend of mine who lives in Dallas....we do this just about every year. Normally I would spend my time at one of the bars playing VP, but will have to modify. Thankfully there's a liquor store on-site so I'll grab some Pendleton for the room and go from there. I'll be masked up the whole time, and sanitizing. See you on the other side......

PDX is my airport and Alaska is my preferred airline. I would be interested in your flight & airport experience. Times? Normal price? Crowded plane? I'm also thinking about South Point for my first stay … eventually. Go get 'em!

Double gin and tonic, and a club sandwich on the way. Weird to see so many Alaska planes just sitting there parked on the tarmac with nothing to do image.jpg

Portland airport is great anyway....I think just year we lost our ranking as the #1 airport in the country, a spot we held for several years running. People are sanitizing, masking, distancing. I haven’t seen anything yet that made me the least bit uncomfortable

This is probably my 10th or 11th stay at SP over the last 7 years or so. I’m fairly familiar with the property already. I love it. Be glad to answer any questions if I can, but I’m not all that much of a table games guy (esp craps)

Love PDX. It "only" dropped to #2. I can live with that, but it will be back. It is always immaculately clean, airy, and offers a calming yet adventurous vibe.

South Point. I mostly play poker and played there for my first time on my last trip. I was very impressed with the facility and poker room. I also played some vp, found some good games and pay schedules, and ate at the buffet which I remember as being a good value with better than average food and a surprising amount of offerings. Sadly, I had a free room offer that has now expired. At least I've not expired … yet. :wiggle:

I don’t think I saw a single person walking through PDX who wasn’t masked up. Same goes for this flight. Hoping for a 1:47 nap and then hitting the VP hard

South Point, IMHO one of the most underrated properties in Vegas. I love the SP and will definitely be following along.

    Have a great trip.

About to touch down. Entire plane was masked up the whole time and stewardess got on once to remind everyone. :) I’m catching a ride from McCarran to SP via a YouTube fan of mine who lives here. I’ve never met him but I figured I’d call in the favor and save myself $30 or so. Plus I trust him and his car more than a cab or Uber that 30 people have already been in today
