I just stayed there last month. I didn’t have any problems. Seemed about the same as it has been for several years now.

Did hear some guys in the elevator complaining about the lack of hot water in their rooms. Apparently they still haven’t handled that issue...

MGM Grand is supposed to be one of the flagship properties in Las Vegas to represent Mlife (it was called MGM Mirage Properties not too long ago before Mlife) so it really should be kept up to standards. Mind you that it really still is an impressive property with how big it is. I did see them renovating the first section of the Hi-limit room where most of the Blackjack tables are during my visit last week. But I find it has fallen out of favor for Hi-limit play as when I walked through it last week, they had about 8 tables or more with dealers sitting around but only one with 1 player playing with his wife. I stayed once at MGM in a suite and it was good for the most part. This was probably over 10 years ago so no idea what the rooms are like now. But my opinion is that it still looks like a great property, just not as great as before.

I have not stayed in the rooms in over 10 years but enjoyed playing there in March - and it has good food options (at the highest of high end to the low end)..... still has a very popular niteclub, and the bars are good fun (even if the VP machines are getting a bit old)

In my opinion the hotel hasn't changed all that much for many years. I stayed there a little while back in a skyloft and the room was great. The casino is the same as it has been for as long as i can remember. Its a mid tier hotel and it always has been. Nothing new here.

Stayed there last month in a grand king. Wasn't as nice as in 2013, but the room and the floor was still better than a lot of the CET casinos we bother with.
