Solo Trip #2... 8/7 to 8/10

Just saw the pilots for my flight. Politely requested that we arrive 2 hours early.

For some reason, he laughed at me and said he would try.

Not so sure what was funny because I was being serious!!!!!

Question for you - What you think about Spirit? They always have killer deals out of IAH to LAS. Like $60 round trip.

I can deal with the wackiness of the time slots and of the restrictions on bags, etc. Is the plane seriously less comfortable than other carriers? I typically have free flights from my work travel, but I see that coming to an end and I'm looking for more affordable answers.

Considering it costs me $30 in gas to get to the 'local' casinos from here.. $60 for a round-trip 3-night getaway is a much better use of travel $.
