    Thanks in Advance.

I travel solo to MGM often MGM: Michael Mina Pub is good NYNY: The Irish Pub and Tom's Urban.
I feel totally comfortable eating at the bar at any restaurant in Vegas. Also Todd English PUB at Aria is my # 1 Fave.
    have fun!

You shouldn't feel uncomfortable anywhere in Vegas. It's a conference city so you always see loads of single parties eating. I like America in NYNY.

If you want to be yelled at dick's last resort in Excalibur across the road is entertaining if you don't mind laughing at yourself.

I am not really a fan of the restaurants at NYNY, but MGM has some good solo options: fiamma, grand wok, emerlis, crush, and wolfgang puck are all good and have comfortable bar seating for the solo diner

I eat solo at Craftsteak and Gallagher's all the time. Never any problem.

I do solo trips all the time and stay at MGM a lot. I have ate everywhere besides L'Atelier and Joel Robuchon.

I always eat at the bar and have never had a problem or felt uncomfortable. The only place I can not recommend is Crush. I had terrible service there the last 2 times I was there.

Look at the settings and menus, find what suits your fancy and wallet. You will be properly accommodated anywhere and everywhere.

I ate solo during my January trip at Toms Urban. The food was great. I highly recommend it.

Big fan of all of these other than Wolfgang Puck, where I just don't love the food. And I would second the recommendation for Michael Mina, great food and cocktails, plus plenty of TVs to distract yourself.

A friend of mine works there, sorry to hear that. I've always found them quite good.

I can't speak to MGM but at NYNY I've eaten at the food court, Il Fornaio, Gallaghers and America solo. All just fine.

Another vote for Tom's Urban. It's an open air restaurant, so just grab a seat near the entrance and people watch.

Project Pie down in the mgm underground is made to order brick oven pizza and reasonably priced- they are a fast casual type location so could grab a table to eat or take the pizza to go.

We stay at the MGM often, many already named good places to dine, just don't do the buffet, it's not very good.

I agree with the above call. Sitting at the bar areas might be better..eas(ier) to strike up conversations with folks..

I am a regular solo traveler to the MGM. Craftsteak is my favorite steakhouse in Vegas and they do a nice job of accommodating dining at the bar. They manage to make it a little special but still comfortable. I actually enjoy hecho en Vegas and Wolfgang puck.
My favorite place to dine solo in Vegas is Todd English pub. I go there every trip and sometimes more.

I travel to Vegas alone and I stay at MGM Grand most of the time. I have had consistently positive dining experiences at Avenue Cafe at MGM. And when I'm craving Italian, I have to go to Il Fornaio over at NYNY. Both places have bar seating and both places I highly recommend.

Another vote here for Tom's Urban as a good place for a solo diner. While I have never eaten there by myself I would say Nine Fine Irishmen is a good bet. Irish Pubs are always food for solo dining. I am going to be at the NYNY in a couple of weeks "semi-solo" so will need to try some of the other suggestions in this thread.
