Looking for a couple of breakfast choices on the strip preferably not far from Mirage. Not looking for anything too fancy and maybe around $10 or so for a good breakfast. Any suggestions? Thanks.

May be closer to the $20 mark, but the Pantry at Mirage is good.
There's a Denny's that should be around the $10 mark across the street at Casino Royale too.

A couple $$ more than $10, but the Peppermill is worth the trip and the extra couple of bucks.

Yep. Definitely more than $10...but worth the experience.
Just bein' honest...$10 isn't gonna get a whole lot.
I'm pretty sure I drop that for couple of coffees and croissants.

Carnegie Deli and Pantry at Mirage are good. Terrace Pointe Cafe across the Strip at Wynn is nice, too. We like to sit out by the pool and have breakfast there. Peppermill isn't too far from Mirage and is cheaper than most. Like others have said, $10 might only get you Starbucks and not much more.

Both are walking distances from Mirage but Planet Dailey's at Planet Hollywood and Ellis Island both serve solid breakfasts for under $10.

Just got me thinkin'...here's a link to the Peppermill menu.

    http://www.peppermilllasvegas.com/menus

Once we get past an order of oatmeal or biscuits & gravy or the granola and yogurt parfait, looks like that ten dollars is what we'd call a 'starting point' ...

Sorry that my suggestion doesn't meet the $10 range, nor close to mirage, but I just want to put this out there.

Tom's Urban at NYNY. You won't go hungry if you eat breakfast there! I can't remember what I paid, but I think it was around $20+? Great sized portions. My co-worker and I were attending a conference at Aria, staying at NYNY. We got to the breakfast and the options were, donuts, bananas and croissants. That wasn't going to cut it for us. So we went back to NYNY and ate at Tom's. Best decision we made that week! The lunch at the conference wasn't very great either but because of breakfast we just treated it as a snack. And to follow up with the crappy breakfast and less than stellar lunch... the conference planners listened and ordered great meals for the last two days.

Hash House a Go Go in the Linq and spit something. Their entrees are frighteningly large.

Go with Peppermill. It isn't 10$ but you can split. And the Bloody Mary IS good. And walk. Burn the calories and enjoy.

Peppermill looks like a good place and I'm a sucker for a good Mary. What would be the best monorail stop for getting there?

Looks like the Convention Center stop would be it...but...if it were me...I'd just walk down Las Vegas Blvd. Even with the monorail...it's gonna be 'bout a four block walk. Always good to walk off a meal from the mill.

Peppermill is probably the best breakfast in Vegas. The portions are pretty big so you could split if you're pinching pennies.

I always call ahead as it can be a wait to get in.

The portions are alarmingly huge, so splitting is probably good for both the wallet and stomach.
