Anybody know what is going on the Week of July 22nd. I booked my car a long time ago but check everyday to see if it will go down. It has gone way up and now everything says no car available, including off airport location.

Hard to believe it's because of 1 convention. We do CES every Jan and that's the LARGEST convention in Vegas @170,000 attendees, never saw cars sold out. I suppose that could be due to the fact it's freakin' cold in jan but...

I searched for rentals and found plenty of cars available for the week of July 22-29. Not sure where you looked. Prices seem a bit high, though, but I didn't try hard to find anything good.

Check out Priceline but even compact cars are sky high, as in $40 at the "two shuttle" agencies like Fox. Sometimes things open up as you get closer to the date, so keep monitoring prices.
