im lamenting the point that because i dont have any relationship with a casino, i wont even get a chance to purchase a CCTV ticket as it stands at the moment (with no formal annoucnement of any cctv tickets on sale ) /If you think that is fair, and the only people who should get a whiff of any sort of cctv tickets are people who have a relationship with a casino then your clueless.

The demand to see this fight is extremely high, so is it understandable that the casinos are not even selling tickets to their CCTV events.

Is this fair? In life, you don't get what YOU think you deserve, you get what you negotiate. The casino's have all the negotiating power in this instance, since the demand is so high. And if you don't agree with what I just wrote above, then you are the clueless one.

casinos are in the casino business,

    not the fight business.

the entire reason they have the arena to put on events such as this fight

is to increase revenues in their casino.

Aria will offer CCTV viewing at Zarkana for $165. No mention of food/drinks.

There will also be a Closed Circuit Viewing event inside the ZARKANA Theater here at Aria. The tickets for this event are $165.00* per ticket inclusive of tax and fees. There is a strict limit of eight tickets per person available for purchase. Third party billing will not be accepted. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend. Gust must present Government Issued Photo Identification and Credit Card used for purchase upon pick up. Tickets will only be released to the card holder. Closed Circuit Events being held at theatres have assigned seating and are not general admission. No Refunds. No Exchanges. ALL SALES FINAL.

*Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. As a courtesy, we want to provide our guests with a projected price point for the Closed Circuit events.

Please be aware that tickets for any Closed Circuit events for the fight will only be available once the live fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena is sold out completely.

Yep, in New Orleans there is a big sign advertising the fight in Harrahs to be shown at their nightclub, Masquerade.

no problems with casinos being in the casino business, but i want to see a fight, i understand the whole tickets going to high rollers ... but still doesn't justify no details or general sale for CCTV. Previous mayweather/manny fights the cctv tickets go on sale about a month before... the casinos were still in the casino business then as well ... also if hey want to increase revenues in there casinos, surely having folk attending cctv showing in the casinos would add to there revenues ...

OK folks, this thread took a weird turn. Let's get it focused back on the fight and the tickets/offers. Otherwise the thread will have to be shut down. Thanks

In addition to the Zarkana theatre at Aria, CCTV tickets will also be sold at Zumanity theatre in NYNY and Blue Man Group theatre at Monte Carlo. Amongst others I am sure...

I didn't realize these CCTV events were in the stage theaters with assigned seating and all that.

I was picturing something in the big ballrooms where they'd put up big screens and have open bars and tables full of food and stuff. And you could walk around, sit, or do whatever you want.

That would be fun and I'd pay a decent amount for it. Just sitting in a theater seat watching the fight on a screen, not so much.

I think they usually are like that. At least the one I've been to before was like that. I think there is such high demand they are looking at more venues to show the event.

Pretty lame they are charging $165 for an assigned seat in a theater. I'd much rather see it in a ballroom ala Super Bowl parties but just too many people to satisfy I think. But it's gonna be what it's gonna be.

I hope they offer a "VIP" option for 300 or 400 or 500 a person where it's open bar and food but I'm not getting my hopes up.

When I got my invite I thought, holy !@#$ I don't rate that (and can I sell those tickets?). Then my host explained it wasn't for the actual fight, just a viewing party :)

I'm hoping they have some smaller VIP parties like this.

I don't think my buddies are going to be very happy sitting in a theater to watch the fight.

    very lame.

I bet they have VIP parties like the Superbowl parties. They would be crazy not to. As you know, I just don't know how I'm going to get into them!

The information I got was sent by someone I chatted with at Concierge and it appears they put me on the mailer list.

I'd imagine hosts would be able to provide some sort of inside for smaller/VIP viewings as most people, including myself, would much rather do that..
