I visited Vegas a lot almost 30 years ago. I visited and I think stayed at the Circus once or twice. I thought it a dump, but nice enough, and there was a lot of fun to be had. In November I visited and spent a couple of hours playing bonus poker at Circus and have postcards offering me two free nights. I get other offers, but the cheap offers make me have less obligation to play a lot. Insofar as the atmosphere in the casino, I found nothing wrong, although I was in a slot area and not near table games. But when I look at Tripadvisor I see posts that say the casino is essentially a homeless shelter. I didn't see this at all, although I was there in the afternoon. So my question for those who visit from time to time is what is it like these days?
