So can I redeem mLife freeplay from the same offer or not?

I have searched and found contradicting answers. There are some who had redeemed fp from the same offer and some who couldn't. It seems like that I wouldn't be able to. So I was there in January and booked a corporate "Gaming Offer". So now that is gone from the Mlife page, of course. The rest of the resorts besides the one I stayed still remain, but in their individual website. I assume that's the "same" offer. Also if I get individual offer from Nomad, is that the same as corporate as well? Thank you all in advance.

Booked two stays online in November at same time so I think same offer. I think, dont know, these are considered promotional or MLife marketing offers.

A visit in December at Nomad... free room, xxxx free play, xxx resort credit
A visit in January at ARIA...free room, xxxx free play, xxx resort credit

    Got free play at both.

In 2018... my rediscovery of LV... I got a postcard offer due to play at a Norcal casino.... free room, waived resort fee, resort credit, free play. I think thats a corporate offer. Nothing online; had to call.

Went in April to ARIA. Booked same offer in May for Mandalay Bay... was told waived resort fee one-time-only... but other elements of offer available for repeated use. When I checked in at MB MLife desk to activate resort credit... there was a bit of confusion... they gave it to me because I had a confirmation email... but apparently, it was a mistake. The offer was that I could use the hotel stay component repeatedly, provided 72 hours elapsed between visits. But the free play and/or resort credit was also one-time-only. They gave it to me that second time due to the mixup ... honestly cant recall if free play, resort credit or both.

    Not sure that helps...

Interesting that you mentioned about Resort Fees there. This seems like much more of a grey area than I expected or knew about!

My partner and I have just booked for 11 nights in the Luxor 1BR Suite, all comped and no RF's. We're staying on a 3 night (me) - 4 night (partner)- 4 night (me) booking set up, to manage the 72-hour rule.

I'd, perhaps naively, assumed that we'd just merge the bookings at check-in so we didn't have to move, and then just enjoy the FP and RC for each booking. I'd, of course, assumed that there would be no RF for the 11 nights either, as that's exactly what our booking confirmations show.

    Interesting...

I am not clear on the actual question here.

I will say that even if you have offers from multiple properties at MGM, you can only do FP at one of them. They actually check what room you are booked into before loading the FP on your card/account.

I always assumed that if you use a second offer in the same "cycle" of gaming offers - for me, quarterly, that you would NOT get the free play and resort credit again.

I did have the same question on Nomad. This is listed separately from my gaming offer - so I believe the question is, is it a separate offer, or is it really still considered part of your gaming offer? I would do a print screen, but all of my hotel offers are gone now, and I have no offers booked. I assume it's just another M Life glitch :).

OK, so I probably will not get the fp, but I assume the RC's are fine. Now I have to find out if the Nomad offer is a stand alone offer from the "Gaming Offer". Thank you.

Last December when I called VIP services to book offer at Bellagio that was a corporate offer which I had previously used at Aria, the VIP person I spoke with indicated that the FP policy had changed so that you could use it at different properties. So, I was able to get FP at Aria and Bellagio under the same corporate offer without getting a host involved. I simply went to mlife desk at Bellagio and they spoke to supervisor and activated the FP. And I got the resort credit also.

You might want to call and ask to make sure cause I was able to redeem FP offer twice on same offer at different properties.

If I already booked online, is it too late? Just wondering if I needed to call the VIP services to book. Thank you!

Yeah this got really confusing in the last couple of years because MLife changed the way they generate offers.

    It used to be that:
    • Everybody was on the same 4 - or - 5 month offer cycle
    • Most people would get both Corporate offers and at least one Property-specific offer
    • You might be able to book more than one stay using the same Corporate offer from the same cycle, but you wouldn't be able to use the throw-ins more than once.
    • If you booked a Corporate offer and a Property-specific offer from the same cycle, you'd be able to use the throw-ins from both
    Now:
    • Some people are on quarterly and some are on monthly
    • Some still get Property-specific offers and some don't

So the accounts we get here are all over the place and it's really hard to untangle the spaghetti. And while some people apparently DO still get property-specific offers, others think they do, but that's only because of the way the offers display on the website. They see offers from all the hotels on one page and think they're Property-specific. They're really not. A Property-specific offer will usually ONLY show up on that hotel's website.

I think the only thing it might be safe to say is that if you book offers from different cycles (whether monthly or quarterly), or different sources (corporate vs property-specific) you should be able to use the throw-ins from both, even if the stays you book are close together in dates.

So if you're on a monthly cycle and you want to book two offers for the same trip (with buffer days in between), I think if you book one offer and then wait a month for the next cycle to book the second stay, you'll probably be OK as far as being able to use both sets of throw-ins.

No idea why they have some people on monthly and others on quarterly. Especially when the people I see on quarterly cycles have very healthy play levels.

Certainly for the last two years worth of trips I had had two stays at different mLife properties during a two week period which have been on the same 'gaming offer'.

They were 72 hours or more apart and have always come with the free play and resort credit without issue. They were never at the same hotel is that makes sense.

2019- The Delano and Park MGM ($100 food credit, $75 freeplay for both)
2018- The Bellagio and Mandalay Bay ($50 food credit, $50 freeplay for both).

    my experience:

I have ALWAYS got the full F&B credit when booking the "same offer" at different mlife resorts.
Once I have been denied getting freeplay due to redemption at a different resort. The desk referenced the resort and date I had already redeemed it at. Two other times (more recently) I got the freeplay both times different properties.

    So...as always with mlife...IT DEPENDS !!! Lol

See my most recent offer from Aria and this appears to be a corporate offer since the offers are similar at properties like Vdara etc. the restrictive language that used to exist that only allowed freeplay to be redeemed once no longer appear to be there, and so it seems to confirm when I went this past December the VIP person stating that FP policy has been changed to allow redemption more than once.
