    YAY East Coast Storm!

Day job makes a product for school districts. If the local schools close, so do we cause - best boss ever!

We're not even gonna get the worst of it in Western NY / Buffalo / Niagara

    Be safe everyone!

I got a snow day too! Went to the gym tonight & on schedule to go again tomorrow morning to lessen the damage of all the storm eating & binge watching i plan to do! Hoping it's not as bad as they predict.

Pouring rain and blowing hard here in Ocean County. About 20 miles south of the rain/snow line. Flooding may be the biggest problem for people on the water.

The storm came in a little later than I was expecting, but it's snowing really hard right now. I am cooking up some chili in the crockpot and enjoying this bottle of vodka. Snow days are the best. :)

Getting slammed here in central NY. Looks like 18-24 inches at least. Time to go snow blow!

I'm laughing at them saying this is a snowstorm. This is a dusting compared to what we get all winter long.

It's snowing here in southern New Hampshire but not very hard. I hear it'll be nasty this afternoon though, and I do NOT have a snow day today - my drive home is going to stink!

Every school in my area is cancelled. Not sure why as it's not that bad. We get so much worse all winter long.

The snow isn't as deep as expected where I live, but that's only because a lot of it turned into freezing rain. I am watching the icicles forming on the power lines across the street and hoping that we don't lose power. I have a generator and gas for it, but I don't want to have to rely on my electric fireplace for heat.

When I used to live in the sticks, a storm like this was no big deal, but now that I live in an urban metropolitan area of 23 million people, it's a little more difficult. There is nowhere to put snow when it piles up and the population density makes travel under these conditions impossible.

What is this snow you all talk about? In Florida we only see it on TV and we all know that can be faked..
