I had two hosts introduce themselves to me on my current trip. One was in the high limit slots room after a jackpot, one was at the craps table the next night after a very strong run.

Does it matter who I contact?

Everything else being equal, casinos love slot players a lot more than craps players.

That was my first thought but I wasn't sure if it didn't matter since either one could see my action. Or is that not true?

    Simple answer:
90 percent of all they care about is ADT.
If you give them $2500 in Average Daily Theoretical, they won't care if it's in slots, VP, or table games.

I don't have a host and probably never will. But by reading the post above I'd contact those host that made you feel most comfortable. A friend will do more for you than a business associate.

So true. Try to find a host that will make their own decisions - not be a rule follower. Also, get to know them on a personal level. I've had more luck with female hosts.

This situation played itself out. One of the hosts emailed me and took care of my room bill for this trip so I'll work with her moving ahead.

I would go with that reasoning as well.
