I'm having trouble identifying which places are having slot/vp tournaments in the upcoming weeks for our trip. Is there a website that lists their routine tourneys? The individual casino websites aren't very helpful. Thanks.
I think El Cortez and Silverton are the only ones that still do daily slot tournaments. Excalibur used to, but I don't think they do any more. Otherwise a few of the other casinos in Las Vegas do hold slot tournaments (and occasionally video poker) from time to time, but they tie it to a special event so its not regularly scheduled and usually the invites only go out to certain players in their casino loyalty program.
Those that tend to run at regular times or days are usually pretty low key as to payouts. The ones that payout something worth writing home above are invite only as a promo.
Best thing to do is call Casino Marketing at the places you are interested in. They usually aren't listed anywhere.
