this is a small local's casino on the boulder highway in Henderson-----it has tons of full-pay vp-----they currently do not have a players card program------they are building a small motel which will be connected to the casino and should open in a month or so-----at the same time they will also implement a players card program---

does any one have any experience with their current comp policy?

I played dollar vp at the bar a few times, floor guy gives us a coffee shop comp slip

I read on here they have a mighty tasty shrimp cocktail! As I venture further into the hinterlands every trip skyline might get a visit this august

Skyline has a few great things.
1) They have great vp progressives. I spent 1/2 of one of my trips there because their $1-JoB progressive was over $6,500. Didn't get the royal. Oh, well. They also have a great $.25 progressive. Most vp is full pay.
2) They have a great $.99 shrimp cocktail. Actually, the original one offered at the Golden Gate. It's the great cocktail sauce that makes it. Order it at the main bar 24/7. Delicious.
3) They have some nice live country-western music that attracts locals on Fri and Sat nights. Personally, I'm not a country-western fan but it's nice to listen to while you eat your shrimp cocktail and play 9/6 JoB at the bar.

Leo: No. This is not the place for the great breakfast special ($1.49 for a full breakfast) though it is close by. The great breakfast special is at Sarah's Cafe in the Klondike Sunset Casino at the corner of Boulder Hwy and Sunset Road. The owner gutted the place and it's new and clean inside...something the Skyline needs to do.

The shrimp cocktail is great. Good memories of what Golden Gate offered for many years.

Is this the place with the good breakfast specials?

They also have a $1.49 breakfast special, but note the small print which requires the purchase of a beverage.

Got four for $5.96 ($1.49 per) with free crackers and water. The sauce is 8/10 on the tangy scale. Hit a quad while eating these and watching the CWS.

I just found this place last night while exploring the map around Sam's Town. Looks interesting. May consider dinner here on our next trip. Currently trying to find a list of other such places in and around town. Not the mega resorts but smaller places that may be worth visiting.

We stop in here every visit to Vegas...old school vibe...playing 70's music...have had some nice hits here, but not recently. Coffee shop is good for breakfast. We really enjoy this place.

If you're hangin' in Henderson - the Emerald Island casino is fun too! Always something fun happening there. Multiple points several times a day. New sign ups get a free breakfast or burger in their really good café. ACG and MRB both have café and gambling coupons. Fun place!

They were rolling a cart around with donut holes the day we visited. They were really good!

Nice, nice people. Some a$$hat in a HUGE truck parked so close to me in the parking lot that I couldn't get the driver's door open anywhere near enough for me to fit my ample a$$ through the opening. They were nice enough to announce the license plate. No one responded. The manager called over a slot tech who was the skinniest guy I have ever seen. He managed to snake his way into the car and back it out for me!

OK, sorry for the total derail.

We stopped there several years ago for lunch. I believe it was a fairly new casino back then. I think I read about it in ACG. They were advertising a pasta lunch for like $1.99. I had penne pasta with what looked like half a chicken in alfredo sauce. My salad & drink were included. I was very impressed with my meal.
Sorry I know that has nothing to do with the comps there.
When we stay at Sams we like to drive to Henderson to Jokers Wild for cheap eats. Good breakfast & dinner specials.
