Planning my 20th anniversary and want something with a wow factor. Am Diamond Elite at CET but their rooms are not wow so I am willing to pay for the experience. Both rooms look amazing, Pros for each is my spouse will use the sky pool if I go that route or we will us the butler 1x or 2x if I go Sky loft. Which would you go with and why? We got married at MGM Grand 20 years ago so for sentimental reasons I am leaning towards Sky loft but don't want to make the wrong choice since I am paying for the room for the first time in 30 years or so. thanks for your help.

The good news is, they are both great options. It really depends on what is important to you. Skysuites has the fabulous lobby and lounge, the private entrance, access to the sky pool, great technology, and a very modern and sleek look. I have not stayed at the skylofts since the pandemic, but assuming things are still the same, it has an awesome butler staff, a seductive vibe and decor, a cool almost urban feel to the loft, outstanding two level views (assuming you're facing the right direction), the best steam shower in Vegas, a much better bathroom overall, and I believe someone reported that the elevators now only go to that level rather than skylofts plus a few floors below it. The VIP lounge at MGM grand is drab and can't compare to the skysuite lounge. But the skylofts basically set up a bar in the evenings and a butler can make you a drink. I do like that the skyloft butlers will bring you meals form any restaurant in the resort (other than Robuchon), but Aria has much better restaurants in general. There isn't a bad choice

They're both great. I'll second UK, neither one will be a bad choice. I prefer the Aria restaurants to those at MGM, but MGM is certainly no slouch. Agree on the lounges as well, I haven't been in a few months so don't know if things have changed, but last time I was at MGM, it was just sodas, coffee, and cookies. And I also very much prefer the Aria casino floor to MGM's, which always feels sprawling and disjointed to me.

Speaking of Robuchon, absolutely one of the best restaurants in Vegas, if not the world. That said, I'm not a huge fan (talk about first world problems...). Everything is impeccably executed, and the service is beyond phenomenal, just not my speed.

    Never been in either.

If you're a YouTube guy, Mikey Chen recently did a series on some LV suites, including both and two options at Cosmo. He's a foodie, so the video include alot of eating, restaurants, etc. But there's considerable info on and views of the two suites

I've stayed in both multiple times (all pre-pandemic). I would pick SkyLofts for the 'wow' factor involved, from the room itself to the butler to the full experience they offer. I like the Aria property better and would normally pick a Sky Suite for other occasions, but this one sounds like the wow factor would be appropriate.

Haven’t stayed in Skylofts before but recently did panoramic penthouse sky suite for the first time and there was plenty of wow factor. Loved everything about the sky suites and as others have mentioned, the rest of the Aria resort is also top notch plus the Sky Suite pool is a nice perk. Aria spa is also phenomenal as well.

Not to hijack the thread but does Skylofts come with limo round trip like sky suites does? Just curious for me to take into account if I decide to try them in the future. It doesn’t say it does like it does on the sky suites site or at least I haven’t seen it. I like to factor that cost into the cost of suites. That component is good for $120-140 off the bill when compared to paying for a room and paying for limo reservation.

I believe it just comes when you stay in the Sky Suites. That was part of my comp.

I don't know. My host has always set up transport for me when i stay there. My guess is yes, if only because they check you in inside the loft, not at a front desk. So they likely would want to know when you're arriving so they can be ready for you

@Kachow Skylofts used to include a limo for all reservations. At some point a few years back, they stopped including it as standard on paid 1BR reservations. Since then I believe they may have stopped it on the 2BR and 3BR, because I can't find any references to it on their website anymore. I'm sure they still include it for all casino guests, but I really can't tell what they're doing for paid guests nowadays.

It does include transportation, it depends what car MGM has available that day/time. They will reserve the nicer cars (Maybach, Rolls Phantom, etc) for the whales, but if there are none at your time, you may get picked up in one of those. Otherwise the house limos will pick you up. The SkyLoft concierge will coordinate with you as you approach your arrival date - you can probably confirm with them what the car will most likely be.

I’m staying at Aria skysuites in October, and my host told me the limo does not come with the skysuites?

Could be a new policy. My host at Aria has always arranged my transport in the past, but I had always heard/read that limo transport was included. Things change, I suppose

Limo is still listed as being included on the website with paid reservations and it still was included on my last stay there in July, but that was a paid reservation. That being said though, if you’re on a comp’d reservation maybe it’s at the hosts discretion. I would think though that if your play level justifies a sky suite that it would also justify airport transportation.

I arranged airport pickup through SkySuites concierge on my last trip 6 weeks ago.
Host set it up for my 10/15 trip.
I just assumed it was still included and it seemed like it when I sent my flight info.

I have read the A/C can be an issue with sky suites at Aria? We’re you able to get the roo to at least 70?

Not sure where that has been written. But I can add that I have stayed in the skysuites more times than I can remember and never once had a problem adjusting the room temp to what I wanted

Stayed 3 nights in a panoramic penthouse in early July of this year. It was blazing hot outside and never had an issue with the AC getting cold.
