If I could ever get a flight from Philly for $39 each way, I'd book it in a second and figure out the rest later, lol.

Nice price, reminds me of the $59 fares I would get on National Air from SJC in the early 2000s

Yeah, but it's Frontier. I'd rather pay a little more on SWA to get flexibility and some flight advantages.

    IMHO, The disadvantages for Frontier.
Frontier only flies between SJC and Las Vegas on M, W, F and Saturday
They only have 2 flights a day.
You have to join their "Discount Den" club to be eligible for $39.00 fares. This is $49.99 up front
    Pay for overhead space.

However, if it works for you, go for it!!!!

I swore off Frontier after a flight to Minneapolis long ago, but it's $39. If it's cancelled or late, you won't be as mad and you just go scoop up another flight.

Another Frontier disadvantage . . . scheduling. I said that I would give them a try from my Same Day Silver Strike trip in October.

No can do. They apparently only have one plane that day and the trip down is the return for the plane coming up.

Yeah, our last three trips have been via Frontier. One plane a day here too. The redeye has been rough, but the 20 to 40 buck one way fares from STL have been tough to pass up. I dunno how they turn a profit.
