I actually think $50 is very reasonable looking at the pictures you posted since the event was called "Drink" I would expect it to be very focused on the drink aspect with a small bite that accompanies it. I got the VIP invite but am not in Vegas until next week and after hearing about @maxev experience I likely would have been dropped from the event.Drink Las Vegas at Aria Pool
VIP was sold out so I got GA. The price difference between the two was $50 to get in an hour early and there was supposed to be additional food.
I was worried there might be a line and wait, but I literally bought my ticket outside the entrance and it was pretty empty. I wanted to check it out since I’m a foodie and it was advertised that there would be food along with the chefs. However, I was extremely disappointed that it was basically drinks with light bites. I left extremely hungry and upset.
I don’t really drink so the drinks didn’t interest me. I’m sure they were good to great, but my focus was on food. I thought it’d be similar to other food and wine festivals or like what Wynn did.
Nope
They set it up really nice, but it was a tad dark in some places. It was not busy, yet you had to wait for them to set out more food. Even if I was in a drinking mood and a drinker, no way I would get my money’s worth cuz I just can’t drink that much. They gave full size cocktails, while the food was bite sized and not a large variety.
They really should have charged half the price and just said it was only drinks and then offered the light bites complimentary. Then it would be worth it. But at the same price as Wynn and most other food and fine festivals—hell to the NO.
I asked if it was possible to pay to upgrade to VIP and was told no. I was thinking maybe they had some better food options?
I spoke with three different workers indicating my disappointment. The first one was just in charge of ticketing and hadn’t even been inside! The second one seemed kinda like a security check in person and the third seemed a bit more official and took my name, but nothing happened. Very disappointing

It was $250 for GA and $300 for VIP plus add another $50 for fees and taxes. I agree that calling it Drink would make it focused on drinks only, which is why I hesitated on getting a ticket, but they kept advertising and promoting the food and chefs so it made it seem more like a regular food and drink festival…I actually think $50 is very reasonable looking at the pictures you posted since the event was called "Drink" I would expect it to be very focused on the drink aspect with a small bite that accompanies it. I go there at least once every trip since it's great for a healthy breakfast and those bowls are huge.Life or whatever it’s called at Aria. I always forget about this place until I want something healthy lol
Yummy açaí bowl, except the bananas weren’t ripe so I didn’t eat that, but otherwise, I finished everything here

Wow I misunderstood and thought it only cost $50 but I agree that would be very disappointing for $250. @maxev had a couple events that he ended up not being able to get into. I haven’t read maxev’s TR, but he didn’t mention anything when I saw him. I just told him about my experience when I saw him cuz he asked if I’d done anything related to the events over the weekend and he said he was going to foofighter concert that night with K. What happened?
When I asked my host about getting a ticket (last minute as always lol), she said she couldn’t because people had grabbed tickets who didn’t even qualify and some people were going to get turned away or something like that…is that what happened to maxev???
Although I would have had a better time with a free ticket, I still think I wouldn’t have thought the value was there…
I know another VMBer that went to the sold out hundred acre wine dinner and they said it was good food and wine and they refilled wines with no issues, but they didn’t think it was worth the $2500 even though they got in for free. I argued that the wines alone were worth that so we chatted a bit about that cuz I absolutely love their wines and think they’re worth their prices, but that is a price I have yet to pay for a wine dinner. I have no doubt it was yummy and I could hear a little bit of the welcome spiel when I was sitting at the bar, but I dunno if it’s $2500+ worth it (same for when Dom Perignon does that dinners). Even if I was working and making money, I would hesitate to spend that much and I love their stuff lol
Haha, yeah, totally would have been worth $50!Wow I misunderstood and thought it only cost $50 but I agree that would be very disappointing for $250. @maxev had a couple events that he ended up not being able to get into. More details in his TR.
