Single game sports betting coming to Canada

    The bill to legalize single game sports betting was passed through parliament earlier this year. On Thursday, the Federal Government announced that the new law will go into effect on August 27th.

    It'll be interesting to see once it rolls out. I know here in Ontario, the OLG has been advertising ProLine+ which will include single game betting. They're running a promotion with a $50 bonus as well for anyone who signs up for a new OLG account. I'll will check it out to see how it compares to the one I've been using. If the odds and variety of sports is about the same it would be worth switching as the money stays here and I'd save on the transaction fees.
