Had a strange occurance when asking for a comp the other day. I play craps heavily for the property $80-150 average bet with buy ins from $500-3000. I've been playing almost daily at the Silverton last three weeks but sessions times vary from 15 minute hit and run to 3 hour get even sessions. Profiting around $2500 in December, but overall loss at Silverton I'm sure. I ask for comps for food often from $20-50 usually without a glitch.

I went into host office and asked for $50 dinner comp. He said I had $15 available which I thought was a little low but I know they are tightening up as the free room nights for platinum/diamond players are going away in 2017. I was about to leave but decided to ask a floor person in the pit if I could receive the same comp. It was given to me without hesitation.

Usually the good cop/bad cop happens with the host outdoing put boss but this was opposite

I am a diamond player and there are only 340 of those

I would say the floor supervisor gave it to you because he knows you..where the host just sees you as a "number"
