When I was there in October, the drink service at Sigma Derby at the D was almost too good. ;)

Last fall the Sigma at the D was almost always full and the cocktail servers were there and back again every ten minutes. This is obviously drawing people to the second floor. I know the machines are not well-loved by the casinos. They take up a lot of floor space and generate a lot of heat but I never recall seeing one out of service. I'm glad the owners of the D saw this as a machine worth adding while all the Sigmas on the Strip were disappearing. When Downtown becomes a copy of the Strip then I'm done.

The D most definitely gives you free drinks when playing Sigma Derby. It's probably the best way there is to suck up free drinks with very low bets. :)

I played at MGM early February and was offered free drinks while playing in the new area. They're slower and they wouldn't let me get crown or patron like on the floor but jack and a couple rolls of quarters did the job.
