My husband was watching Tera Nova again this week. I kind of liked that show and it only lasted one season. Had me thinking. I was really into Covert Affairs and was upset when it was cancelled. Also as I remember last I saw on 24 - we had to wonder about what happened to Jack. Was a fan of Moonlight with Alex O'Louglin too. --- It was a little or a lot corny but I liked it. Apparently Mork and Mindy was cancelled on a cliffhanger - whoda thunk? I remember watching that show but I must have quit watching before the last season. Robin Williams was great.

And of Course Las Vegas with Josh Duhamel - just left us hanging.

+1 to Carnivale. But my number one vote has to go to DEADWOOD! I hear there is going to be a movie, but its cancellation was infuriating. They were just getting to the good part. :)

And for us old people on the board.... Soap. ;) I still wonder what ever happened to Jessica.

When the pay cable channels first started doing original series, there was one on Showtime called Odyssy 5. Omg I loved that show! It went 2 seasons, I believe. Still mad at Showtime over that one. They even kept it on their website for a really long time, like it was going to come back eventually. I think this was around 2004.

Enterprise was canceled without any ending, but they later decided to add a conclusion to the series via a StarTrek:TNG episode. I was bummed when the series was canceled, since I think they could have done a lot more with that series in regards showing more of the pre-Kirk era.

Thing is, Paulie was the only gang member to survive.

Tony was killed. Meadow spent years tracking down the assasin and finally got him. She became a “close friend “ of the new Newark mob.

Carmela realized her lifelong dream to become a nurse. She moved to Brooklyn and married a bar owner. She became addicted to prescription drugs and never beat them.

Anthony found himself and went to law school. He is now a leading advocate for LGBT rights.

Paulie got out and is now a host at the Bellagio.

Sadly, that wasn't a cliffhanger. It was just a terrible final episode. Everyone knew the show was ending. So, for reasons I will never understand, they decided to tie the final episode to a mid-series episode from the long since cancelled Next Generation series. Just a dumb decision all around

Loved Rome and hated it was cancelled. The producers were told before they filmed season two that it would be the final season. So they compressed four years of planned story into one season. The second season still had good moments, but the pacing was so odd after the excellent, slow burn of the first season! I read an interview once with the showrunners who said the original pitch to HBO was first season dealing with the assassination of Caesar, the second season was to end with the death of Brutus, followed by two seasons set in Egypt, and a final season in Palestine. Too bad. That show had such great potential
