    My Trip Report

**Warning: Really Tame Trip Report! Absolutely No Debauchery!**

    Trip 12-1-2007 thru 12-4-2007

Went to Vegas with 13 other family members from Houston Hobby to celebrate Uncles' 65th birthday. Stayed at the MGM Grand-with RT Air--Total cost $432 booked through MGM Grand Vacations. The package deal actually was cheaper than booking seperate this time.
All of my aunts and my mom won $100+ on various slot machines. I won $100 on video keno, then lost $93 on the horsies.
Ate at the Peppermill Sunday for breakfast! WOW! I WILL eat breakfast at Peppermill EVERY trip to Vegas in the future. Let me just say, the short stack of pancakes is not short, nor small!
Ate at the Rainforest and the MGM Buffet once each for breakfast and dinner. Rainforest was ok, but overpriced. The Grand Buffet breakfast was good(hard to mess up breakfast) and dinner filled my tummy, but would not rate it as one of my better buffet experiences. I did, however enjoy the fried shrimp!
Did a little shopping at the Premium Outlet downtown. Fairly good prices on a few items, especially in the Levis store. The Coach store was packed and many purses were purchased by the ladies in mi familia.
No, I did not enter the melee, thank you! Yes, it was a melee! One of my cousins walked out after an hour in line and declared "Enter at you own risk"! I declined.
Also saw the Platers, Coasters,& the Lead Singers of the Temptations at Sahara! Decent show, but the Lead Singers of the Temptations brought down the House. Incredible!
MGM registry at airport, getting baggage, and rental car center all went smoothly.
MGM west Wing rooms are small, but very clean and good for sleeping and rr use. Otherwise, there won't be any MM or NSF partying in those tiny rooms. In large groups, that is.
I really did not get the opportunity to do much of what I would want, because my cousins and I spent most of the time pushing mom, dad, and aunt in wheelchairs. I'm not complaining, because none of them had never been to Vegas and they all had a truly wonderful trip. I'm glad I had the opportunity to give a gift like that to my parents and share it with my uncles and aunts. They all really do deserve it!

I'm already planning a solo trip for when school is out! I appreciate all of your help and guidance, especially Hoya! Thanks for reading!

    Moe

Awesome Moe....I somehow think my trip coming up will be like yours...except it will be my 87 year old grandma complaining i'm not pushing her fast enough, and no, that isn't the slot machine she wanted to play, and to leave her be because it is her $$ she is gambling away...ahhh...family :)

Hopefully your next TR will be full of only Debauchery!

Nice trip in that you shared it with the family.

And don't underestimate what MM attendees can do with a small room...
