    Finally returning to Vegas this weekend! We are staying in a fountain view room at Cosmo but have mostly stayed at PH in the past. Looking at the website it looks like Cosmo has a few shops we could grab snacks for the room, drinks & mixers. I was wondering if anyone knew if the prices were comparable to ABC stores or are we better off running over to PH to stock up when we get there?

    @JFowl they are more expensive.
    We got 3 sodas, a bag of peanuts and 2 ice cream cones for $26 one night
    I also purchased some waters there (desperate in the morning for a cold water) and it was over $3 for the regular sized bottle

    BUT make sure to give your identity card for any purchase on Cosmo property (restaurants, small shop, hotel etc) you can easily build up your resort credits and tier points

    Just as with any casino gift shop, prices are much higher at Cosmo. I'd cross the bridge to either ABC inside Miracle Mile, or the Walgreen's inside Harmon Corner. Either are close, Walgreen's is likely a shorter walk. I tend to base my decision on which escalators are working on a given day (ABC is to the left, Walgreen's is to the right).

    Thanks for the fast replies!! Sounds like we’ll be venturing to ABC or Walgreens.

    You can take the overpass from Cosmo right over to Walgreens.

    Just to put things in context, by the way, a 1L of Tito's is $70-ish at the Aria gift shop. A 1.75L is $50-ish at Walgreen's.

    I made note of prices because I’m always trying to make the next level at Cosmopolitan and spend is a good way to do it.

    Those training bra sized liquor bottles (375 ml i think) of gin were $20 for tanqueray and $27 for Bombay Sapphire. The big don julio 1942 was $250 and according to the clerk, very popular.

    I apologize to myself, for myself, for remembering this 1 month later. :oops:

    Definitely appreciate that info, because that’s exactly 1 of the items on my list. I wouldn’t necessarily miss the extra $20 but that is $20 that can be ran through a slot lol!

    It's actually quite a bit more than that, given that it's $70 for 1L vs. $50 for 1.75L.

    My philosophy is just that if it's only going to take an extra few minutes, it's worth it. $20 for ten minutes is $120/hour, my Vegas time is worth more than that! Also, Walgreen's has a fee-free ATM, as does Crystals right next door, next to the main-floor elevators.

    Didn’t Cosmo have the secret elevator to the Polo Towers shop?

    Is that hidden convenience store still open?

    "There is an elevator bank on the casino level of Cosmo. It's kind of hidden but if you troll the machines against the north wall, you'll see it in a little alcove. Two elevators. Take them down one level and you will be in an eerie parking lot type place. There's a convenience store there and you can get beverages and snacks, including water, a lot less expensively than the casino gift shops. The convenience store connects this parking lot place to the entrance of the Jockey Club. There's no fancy sign or anything. Just get off the elevator and go to your right and you'll see the door up ahead."

    We go there on occasion; limited selection but much cheaper than Cosmo gift shops.

    Oh wow, I completely missed the size difference! Thanks for pointing that out. I’m sure we’ll stick to what we had planned and just hit up the ABC store in Miracle Mile first. The excitement has gone up a bit now that we’re getting closer, and after 2 canceled trips last year we are just itching to get there and get the party started lol. Gotta take it down a few notches :woohoo:
