Ok, all, first and last semi real meal of the trip... The steak nachos at TAP were good. Thanks for following along. Really didn't do much, but it was fun!

So post trip recap, in all, we'd stay at MGM again, but Cosmo is still tops for us, followed by Aria, then MB.

Food: We like quality mid-tier options, with some good FAST food.. Cosmo's food truck style food court, or for non-fast food, the Henry's or Holsteins. Mid tier at MGM was actually more expensive than Cosmo, $24 for a burger at TAP etc. But they get props for really good steak nachos. I just have a weird line in the sand, mid-tier should be $20 and under per plate. Once it tips over, it's not mid-tier for me.

The sports book deli is no longer a deli, it's the west end market, pre-made expensive sandwiches/wraps. Nothing fancy, just pricey.

So it was kind of weird in that it's not Aria or Cosmo, but the mid-tier prices were a little more.

But, as you saw from my pics, minimal food, so I can't give it a fair report. Cosmo just really hits our sweet spot on food offerings, with MB second. (Aria has great food, but more formal than we want.)

Room: We had the Executive King Stay well. TOTALLY forgot pics, so here are some stock photos. We liked the room. I would probably go for a non-stay well ONLY because the mattress is too hard for my taste, but if you like firm, you're set. Two sinks, and separate shower and tub. Do watch your mini fridge like anywhere. A $10 Heineken made it on the folio even though we didn't take one. Also, $8 for a diet Coke....Cosmo is $6 I believe. mgm-grand-hotel-and-casino-2.jpg mgm-grand-hotel-and-casino-3.jpg

Slots: I prefer our Luxor premier suite room wise, but their casino was too small. MGM had plenty of slots. I had my fanny handed to me, but that is because I misbehaved, not due to slots being tight. :) So even though I loved our Luxor room, MGM ranks higher, for slots and hubs action.

Drinks at MGM, they do serve Absolute on the floor, and I think they actually serve it upon request (versus swapping it out for gut rot even if you ask for absolute) , as I didn't have my epic hangover that I had from my Martini night at Luxor.

It was great to try a new place, and we'd return.

All in All, MGM was a fun trip, I like the executive rooms, and plenty of slots, and as you can tell from my pics, loose enough for someone wiser with their bankroll than I was. I've had some casinos that are brutal even when disciplined. A grade (on A, B, C, D, F scale) for MGM on slots.

PS last Vegas drama? Lost my license at the airport, but had an expired back up that TSA let me through with. It turns out my wallet had a tear and it slipped into a hidden part So I DID find it. Whew!

So, MGM was fun, we went crazy, and it's definitely a solid mlife option!

OH my gosh @breanna61 just saw this. My end of trip year is still up in the air, as we are hitting Tahoe in November, but if I can swing the end of year Vegas? I would LOVE to meet up.

This year has been my "expand my horizons" year on hotels, but we found even though we had a blast at other hotels, it's either going to be Cosmo for us, or Aria if on the mlife side.

So, as we get closer, if I can swing the end of the year in Vegas? You'll be the first to hear from me.... as it'd be a blast!
