    Swear to god, wasn't going to go until after the election when the you-know-what 19 hysteria disappears. But, sitting at my computer today, decided to check rooms and rates and what not. Round trip tickets? Already paid for after cancelling in June and waiting to use. CET Rewards Credits? About $675. Hmmmm. That would cover 6 nights at the Flamingo with a little over $100 left for food. SNAP! Guess who's going to Vegas??!?? THIS GUY!!! Will cost me $260 all day for a car rental for the week. My poker jones needs to be scratched in the worst way, and the Venetian has got a DeepStack Extravaganza tournament going all month in September. Hoping to break even. We'll see YOU at the final table.

    Me and the partner are going to be working remotely in Vegas for a week a la vmb member Tarpie and to possibly/ possibly not have Bacchanal Buffet, possibly/possibly not video poker bar, and to watch and gamble on football.

    Booked for five comped nights and sixth night for $30 at Bally's Sept 20-25. Had to cancel my March, April and two scheduled July trips already; hope I don't have to do it this time. Hope that they re-open the VP machines at the casino bars; if not, it will put a crimp in my Vegas 'experience'. Renting a car so I don't have to worry about spotty Uber/Lyft service or taking the Deuce(rolling COVID-19 lab). Need some quiet poolside time for reading a book and sipping on some cocktails, doing some hiking around the Mt Charleston area and hitting several quads...maybe a Royal or two. Also plan to visit with a few of my favorite bartenders downtown.
