I am in August thread also, but staying until the 4th. If you see a old grey haired guy with his head in his hands at an CET VP machine bemoaning his bad luck, give me a holler. Maybe it will turn the tide.

September 17-21 for this dude, but this mask thing does have my attention. Tough concept on doing it while covered up. Last trips were solid, felt staff/attention was good, just not at the typical Vegas level. Planning to abuse Sportsbook on Sunday, some slots and BJ in spare time.

9/14-9/17, but I'll probably cancel if the mask mandate is in effect. I went in May, after getting fully vaccinated in April, but I'm not doing that again. I could probably deal with a mask at the airport/airplane, if it gets extended past 9/13, but I'm not sitting in a casino or walking around Fremont Street for three nights with a mask again.

Generally I'd feel the same way, but it has been 783 days (and counting) since I've been in Vegas. As long as it is indoors, I'm okay with it. I have no issues complying with it indoors or Fremont street. I need my Vegas kick.

So I'm happy spending time at the pool, walking and checking out Vegas, and just being in my happy place.

I am planning a Sept trip.
If mask mandate still active, or the temperature still 110 degree or above, I will cancel.

I have a week planned for the last week of September. I might not go if they DON'T have a mask mandate.

Probably still making my trip, sounds like less people currently. This might provide opportunity with gaming, loose slots for everyone :woohoo:

just really feel the need to do some football gambling, will probably setup at Caesars, more to come.

Staying at The Linq Sept. 4-10 for the BCAPL/CSI pool (billiards) amateur tournament at The Rio. I'm not playing this year, but I haven't had a break in almost a year and am using this as an excuse to get away to watch some pool. I had Covid earlier this year and got vaxxed, but I will wear a mask regardless of what the rules are, since crowds still made me a bit nervous. My symptoms were mild, but I also got a flu shot last September, and I think that made a difference with the severity. My wife, who never gets a flu shot, got it much worse than I did. I had a fever and could barely move for ten days, and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. If anyone is interested there are professional 9-ball and 10-ball tournaments at the The Rio from Sept. 1-11 with admission free with some of the best pool players in the world. The events are held at the ballrooms at the back of of the hotel. You can check online for schedules.

If anyone is travelling solo and interested in playing some low roller, low house edge craps or learning how to play, or just want to have a meal or drink, please feel free to message me. If this is too much information, my apologies.

My Sept.18-23rd trip to Nevada is going to be a repeat of my April trip. Thanks to iHeart and Life is Beautiful, hotel rates are, ahem, adjusted slightly upward to accomodate the demand. Therefore I decided to take advantage of two comped nights 90 minutes away in scenic Laughlin at the Aquarius. Then on Monday when LAS returns to seminormalcy, I'll be testing the rental car up the steep incline of the parking garage at the D Hotel, trying to avoid all the styrofoam coolers, empty liquor bottles and beer cube boxes left behind by thirsty hotel guests in adjacent parking spaces before their return home for the next three nights. I will participate in my first slot tournament in eons at the D.

Keep checking bc rates slowly coming down however I assume you don’t want to be in the downtown mess but after MSS announced reopening I booked 3 nights over LIB weekend, comped somehow. Even the Cal lowered their rate which was an unbelievably high $724 for Sunday (not a typo) and now it’s $20 for me.

I'm double booked at The D and Fremont for 9/20-22.

I made the reservations before the new mandate went into effect. I'm staying on comps, so don't really care about the mandate. My flight is $80, so that's all I'm out of pocket. Going anywhere local would $500-600 minimum those dates, so even with masking it's a bargain. I am crossing my fingers that they get things under control by then though.

If anyone wants to share a reservation at Hugo's Cellar or Andiamo on 9/20, let me know.
