    My Trip Report

All I can say about this trip is it was 5 nights of Gambling, drinking, more gambling, some sun at the pool, and more drinking!!!

I arrived on time Thursday night and proceeded to Harrahs. My first priority was to go to a open $15 table and put a $100 buy in and announce to the dealer and pit that this was to try and win for the Katrina donation cause. I chose an empty table and hoped that I could get the dealer in on it to help get others to buy in... WRONG! He was aloof about it and so was the pit boss. I thought what a couple losers. So in my stupid stubborness, decided to show him I could build that $100. Well after winning the first hand, I think I lost all the rest......
Towards the end he started wripping on the Red Cross and how they would be a waste to donate to...

Lesson learned. Get off tables with bad carma people!
So I went on down to the triple shot and hung in for awhile before it finally ate my buy in. By now I was getting a good buzz and remembered a friend told me to play the #28 and another friend told me to play the #25 on roullette. So I dropped $5 on each number and sure enough the #28 hit!!!
Score, I took the money and ran. Unfortunately I dropped most of it back in the $5 slots...

Later, I hit the Harrahs poker and played a 3-6 game. I bought in for $100 and a couple hours later at 5am, cashed in $200...

Fri morning I woke to construction noise at 8:30 am and was livid... So I went to the VIP check in and got a different room. They gave me a $15 comp for a meal for my trouble so that was good. Friday was a blur as after going to the RIO pool for a few hours, I came back and gambled and drank hard all day and into the night!

    Saturday, dejavu

    Sunday Dejavu

    Monday Dejavu

Next thing you know it was Tuesday morning and time to head home.

    Notes:

I won every college Football bet on Saturday
Lost most of my bets Sunday
Hit Aces with a kicker on DDB poker quarters!
Sat down at a 200 minimum no limit 2-5 game, after a few hands bet 30 on a pair of 10s and everyone folded. Got up and left table...
The bartenders at Harrahs sportsbook are good especially if you tip well.
Earnest at Harrahs bars makes the best Rum Runner ever!!!
Got hooked on video poker but in the end lost alot...
Poker at IP is easy pickens!!! (Just wish that was all I had played the whole time!!!)

Next time I go to Vegas, it will be with someone else with me to keep me in control...

PS: Sorry for the brief report, most of the trip was a blur as I was drunk the whole time.

And this trip was different from MM2 how? Glad you had another blurry trip, my friend!

First of all Neon, glad you didn't get dragged down by the losers/losses and still pulled out a good time.

Regarding your "abbreviated" TR, I find that engaging in a little poetic license during the "blur times" goes along way to spice up a TR. The more the blur, the more the creative enhancements ;)

woohoo, my kind of trip

Didn't you get to meet up with anyone else from the board? Or is that possibly the blur on Friday night?

Glad you had a great time!!

Next time, stay away from the $5 slots :soapbox:

I was there during the same time frame. My week went about like yours!! Ernest at Harrahs also makes the best long island tea. He is one of the greatest bartenders I have ever come across.
