Nothing beats a good night’s sleep after winning a great session! After getting up this morning we headed downstairs to have breakfast again at Du-par’s. We had the same waitress as yesterday and she recognized us and we ordered some different items today.

I had the Patty Melt and fries…

Wife had the Veggie Omelet and hash browns that also included this Blueberry Muffin…

We then went around the floor for her to play some slots. Now she’s heading up to the room to catch up on some work emails and I’m going to hit the craps table again.

The tables were not as good to me as last night. I gave back some of my winnings, but still had a good time. Was walking away but a guy from Cincinnati came up and wanted to play but, like me, doesn’t like to be the only player at the table. So I stayed and we chatted and threw dice. Wish I could say we won, but we probably both were within $50 of breaking even for a few hours play.

Now we are going out to find another suitcase since we need one and why not get one to take home on the plane? And will be going to Fremont Street tonight to enjoy the weekend crowd,

We made a few purchases of some items at TJMaxx and made the decision to try somewhere new. We made the cross-town journey to Ellis Island. Spent several hours at their table and it was fun! I lost some money, but for 3 hours entertainment I felt was worth it. The casino is smaller than I would prefer, but the craps vibe is rocking! Will definitely be back for this.

Wife was hungry so got us a few slices from Metro Pizza. Sorry, no pictures as we both needed to eat. Who knows where we will end up next.

Nice pictures of Death Valley. Wild desert sunsets and sunrises are the best IMHO. Some nice craps sessions. Good luck the rest of the way!

Thanks, @RedChip! It’s been fun so far and have played so so much craps that win or lose overall, I’m ecstatic.

With the craziness that exists on FSE tonight, it probably needs to be renamed to Freak-mont Street! There’s several characters dressed up and almost too many topless ladies that I feel like I forgot to pay admission at the club entrance.

But this guy has stole the show. Anyone need a babysitter?

The last day of our trip is here and so many things we have done and others we didn’t get to (which is everyone’s story in Vegas). We are once again having our first meal at Du-pars and then heading off the Ellis Island for some last-minute fun!

It’s bittersweet but all good things must end. Fortunately plans for a future trip are already in the works for this upcoming summer.

Final morning meal at Du-pars. It was packed this morning since it’s a Saturday and later than we normally go for a meal.

I had the Steak and eggs with hash browns…

This meal was all-in for about $30. Never ceases to amaze meal the value you can get here. Good food and good service.

Nice report and great pictures. Congrats on the craps wins (isn't it a great feeling when you walk away from the craps table with a nice profit ?) and an overall successful gaming trip. Safe travels home.

Just finished up another craps session at Ellis Island. Did I say how much I like these tables? Spent several hours there and money was widdling away with each roller. I was down $200 and brought it back plus made a few bucks on my last roll to get to even today. Felt great!

Now it’s time to figure out food and be heading for the airport.

Flight just landed a bit ago and waiting for luggage now. Pilot must have had a bet riding on the flight because the usual flight time from Vegas to Nashville is about 3 hours 25 minutes, but we made it in 2 hours 45 minutes. Very smooth flight.

Thanks to all of you following along!

Awesome report. Sorry we missed each other, but it looks like you had a blast. Meant to ask, ehat your normal strategy is in craps. I usually do pass line eith odds, come bet with odds, and then another come bet with odds.

where was your favorite place to play craps.

mine was at golden gate, the crew was funny and helpful, and the other players were cool too, it was $10 minimum on monday morning.

i played at dowtown grand around noon on sunday but the table had no vibe, and neither did the casino.

glad you had a great time

Thanks for tagging along,@RedChip. It was fun to live it, and will have created a lot of memories for us.

Thanks @tringlomane. It was hard finding pictures to post here not only because I took so many photos, but i don’t think pictures can do the real-life views any justice.

@Vegasismy2ndhome - I would say everywhere I won was my favorite place! :D Seriously though, Ellis Island was probably the most enjoyable atmosphere for craps. Not only are the tables $5 and packed all the time, but the crew keep it moving well. They are great and friendly. Next time we go, this is a must stop and plan to try out their Front Yard area too!

Although I had a nice session at The Grand, it was definitely lacking in atmosphere. Most other places I played had similar ways.

As far as craps strategy, I don’t have a single one. I will try to vary it up to see if something will work. On other shooters, I don’t place any line bets and usually place two points. From there I will build up and out into an Iron Cross just to be collecting with each roll and hopefully start coming out ahead. Depending on how the roll has been going, I may turn bets off or keep playing that shooter.

On myself it’s a single line bet (and line bet for the crew) and place inside. Build up and then out to 4/10. Sometimes I might place 4/10 working on come out. Since I’m mostly a red chip player, i build up until I can collect green chips. Once a session has me up, then next time around I will go bigger and press until getting black chips.

Thanks and glad that my first time visit to EI has inspired you to visit. It felt comfortable among the noise. Can’t wait to try more of their food offerings next trip!
