I can't believe this was only 80 hrs. I REALLY enjoyed this report. You did SO much and yet it never felt "rushed".

Very nice job! I looked at every picture. :)

So, YYZ-YVR-LAS on the way out, and red-eye coming home? Hope the red-eye at was at least a direct flight!

I'm starting to watch fares on some of the US airlines out of Toronto - Delta and American, maybe others - they can be very reasonable.

Wow those kayak pictures make it look awesome! I wonder if I'd be able to get a two seater with my wife and let her just ride along. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't find paddling her own kayak very fun.

I find it hilarious that you sought out Mexican food in Vegas because you don't have any at home when we do the complete opposite and avoid Mexican food when we are almost anywhere since we live in Texas (not to mention my wife is Hispanic). I'm actually somewhat surprised that Cadillac was so bad since the whole company is based out of here and are pretty good locally. I guess that's the thing with chains: the quality is often very locally dependent. Hate on McDonalds all you want, but even all the way to Paris, France they pretty much taste exactly the same.

Thanks for the awesome trip report! Loved the pictures, your vacation style and your writing.

Loved the grand adventure and the semi-live; it was great to "tune-in" each day throughout the day!

Just out of curiosity, I'll ask this: how do you handle exchanging Canadian loonies? Do you just use ATMs and withdraw in US currency? Or do you "pre-order" from your bank? Or, God forbid, use an airport exchange?

Really enjoyed following along. Stuff not done is on the list for next time. You had a ball and that's what its about.

Frequently we've found the same WestJet flight offered on Delta's website for $100 less.

Thanks for a great trip report, I really enjoyed how you were able to use shuttles and public transportation to get around. Plus your photos really made this epic.

The El Dorado Cantina on Sammy Davis Blvd, next to Sapphires, bills itself as the Best Authentic Mexican Restaurant. But I think they only use authentic twice. I stopped for happy hour and had a couple street tacos.
