    My Trip Report

Heyyyyyy VMBers, I am finally getting back to Vegas for a proper stay, my last trip was an overnight during my August Laughlin sojourn.
I'm in the live entertainment business, (I produce "for fun" casino nights and fundraisers....so yeah.... F*** COVID with the biggest (**@#@NG )(@* in the ()*#(@ world!!!

I have been enjoying vicariously living through you guys, so heeere we go.

This is the first in what will be a flurry of trips (with travel being practically free, and Vegas being so empty, and me having no work, it's probably one of the safest places I can go and have fun)

    Deets:
Flight United FC from PHL, arrive noon 12/26, redeye 12/30 home (using 600 diamond elite credit..having this I can justify the First Class ticket, only costing me net $200, comfy and away from GPOP)

Car from Hertz to get some united miles $200 all in
Hotel--Paris, burgundy room with separate tub reserved comp, planning on trying the $20 or $50 trick to get a suite

    Gambling
    About 3k bankroll
$650 free play (50$ marketing and $600 airfare)
Video poker, pai gow tiles, pai gow poker possibly baccarat. Probably a couple pulls on the great big cheeseburger machine.
Will also hit Fremont St and throw Circa and the D some play

    Dining
Brunch on Sunday and Wednesday at Tableau -Wynn thanks @Flowers
    Dinner Sunday Bugsy and Meyer's
    Monday- Andiamo
    Tuesday-Steakhouse at SouthPoint

    Golf
Monday and Tuesday- Canyon Gate Country Club (I have access for two free rounds a month from my home club)
Wednesday---TPC Las Vegas---- this should be a treat!

    Cigars
Have some Oliva, Padron, and Brickhouse to level out my stay

    Warm up my January

Innnnnnnnnn. Golf and steaks in particular please, but it's all good. With your username, surely some craps action in amongst that gambling plan?

It's possible, maybe on Sunday. I'll see if there is a game going someplace. Maybe Bellagio or Flamingo Although I don't know how keen I am on it with the Rona. It's hit too close to home too many times, and there will always be poker.

As for steaks, I'm actually a vegetarian, (except for bacon and the occasional shrimp) but I promise my buddy's steak pics and plenty of food porn.

Yeah, my craps days are for the most part over, my bankroll doesn't handle the volatility well, and at my general level, I cant get comps playing craps. Not that I play for comps, but if I'm going to utilize X as a gambling budget, I need to get some good value. (I do work the edges of system and try to know where my various theo averages are and use them to my advantage to take advantage of both long term comps and teasers (and my company is called Pass Line...hence that also)

    I hope to not disappoint!

We might be able to squeeze a shoe of baccarat in.

To go vegetarian, I would also need this concession.

I'm really going to have to re-think the comps element before my next trip. Not sure if being International counts against me, but I get nada in the mail and logging in on Mlife, there's nothing there at all that someone couldn't get on Day1 for signing up. LIfetime, I think I've had 2 free nights, a handful of restaurant meals comped under duress and back in the day, more $15 paper buffet comps than I knew what to do with (but they don't really count as they weren't given out commensurately with play) On various TRs, I see people play penny slots and get a week comped in a suite at Caesars. I go $135 across, $10 each the hardways, press the shit out of it and some hopping action when the 12th G&T kicks in, yet I have to put a host in a backhammer to get a line pass. The magic ingredient is ofc that I won't stand there for 4 hours getting the worst of it in return for a "maybe" trip to the cafe. But perhaps it is time to finesse things a bit more, I've long ago decided just to do whatever I feel like for the gamble, and let them stiff me on the back end how they deem fit.

    Anyway, have fun, following along.
