Last trip was November and my wife took me to Searsucker located in Caesars. She had a previous experience there on an all girls trip that was an amazing memory including they got to meet the chef/owner Brian Malarkey-- anyways, she told me we must eat there. I thought for sure it would not live up to her hype and I could find us a better meal at a restaurant with a more know chef- boy was I wrong! That trip we had Table 10 (Emerill)and it was overall a B grade in my opinion. Next night, Searsucker blew me away- service, decor, cleanliness, vibe, server was best ever, and the food was absolutely amazing- I was so impressed. So here we are back in Vegas in April and Searsucker is definitely on our list but I still believe I can find a place that I will feel just blows my socks off just as much...no! Ate at another famous chef restaurant with great reviews and I just knew it did not ring my Bell the way Searsucker did. So last night is the night we have set for Searsucker--have a already put it on a pedestal so high that I will be disappointed- maybe. No! It was crazy good. I cannot deny that it is my bar..I will compare all others to it! This trip: Appetizer: Spiced Himachi and avocado. Plates: Calamari steak. Roasted Bone marrow. Fillet steak with red wine demi. I honestly wasn't a fan of the bone marrow on the toasted bread it comes with but our server suggested I use it with my steak. Wow! It change my amazing steak to my favorite steak I have ever had. Best part is my wife has the same feelings about this place- hands down our favorite restaurant in Vegas and anywhere for that. I never hear much anything about this place and felt the need to give it some props!
