Heading out with a few friends at the end of April and planning dining reservations. Anyone have any feedback positive or negative from relatively recent visits to Scarpetta? Any suggestions on can't miss dishes or dishes to avoid?

The tomato basil spaghetti is delicious; a simple dish but so good.

We had an amazing dinner and snagged a decent view of the fountains. Also the short rib agnolotti is fantastic. Ask for the “bottle on us” and the sommelier will pick something nice. Enjoy!

That's pretty much their signature dish, and it's great. I really like the duck/foie ravioli and the burrata, too.

One caveat is that their "specials" can be hit-or-miss. This sort of place is built upon making the same dish, the same way, every time, and when they mix it up, the results vary a bit.

Calamari may be the best I had, polenta was amazing, duck ravioli were great, spaghetti was just eh for me, ambience was perfect especially with our fountain view.

Their agnalotti is one of my favorite things I've had at Cosmo. It's a little more unique and not generic "italian" pasta and sauce. The arancini was really good too. We went in November and December and have some pics in TRs, but we went at happy hour both times. I guess everything we ordered was smaller portions of things off dinner menu, and our server shared with us on the last visit that the happy hour portions are 1/2 sized dinner portions and recommended with a wink we just order two of the happy hour portions if we wanted a full serving (much cheaper that way). And they did have the free bottle of wine with full dinner purchase and they said that was good "until we run out of the bottles."

They let me have a good room if I agreed to also take a slot tournamen
    Why not?
