Hey Wallew sorry I missed your earlier post cause Vegas (booze) got in the way. Thanks so much. After the brutal beating I got last trip this was so much pleasure. Still down for the year (last trip) but feeling so much better. Like maybe going again is back is not a bad idea. After last trip I was think whats that 1-800 gambling number? :wiggle: Yeah, not really

Thank you Sir. It is an unusual feeling to have a hail Mary win at the last minute. I've had three in the last couple years but the last trip erased any chance of winning this year. NYE is already planned so I've got to start prepping for a winner, Right?

My friend, please don't be upset but i got to back this up cause I looked at what I posted and I think there is only one JOB. Well I totally agree on the JOb versus BP and I mostly played BP in case I wanted to post a win and not get grief but I am still of the belief that it is what it is and karma or the VP gods rule. I've hit so many great hits on JOB which I no longer post but keeps me alive in the grinding process. When I'm all in so to speak, its DDB or TDB but when I am grinding, I know JOB or DB is where to be. When one doesn't work, the other might. I won't grind down a one way dead end street when a detour might make things better

Congrats on a fun and winning trip, even if the drawing didn't turn out as you had hoped. I love how connected online and in life you and your son are. My mother hasn't touched a computer in years but if she did, we'd be the same way. :)

Thanks so much. In addition to the post here, we had a 4 person text going the whole trip as well as a text just between the two of us. This was our first trip in a while without one or both wives so it was great to have some good conversations over VP and cigars. My son and I always have a great time together. Hopefully today he closes on his house in Georgia and will be moving back to Texas. Then we will see each other more than Vegas trips.

Thank you. I really thought I was going home in the red once again until that hand. Then I got cocky and played off a bunch on VP before bed. Still a winning trip. :woohoo:

Wonderful your son is moving back. We live in the hill country and our son lives in San Antonio but works here in Fredericksburg. Funny years ago I used to make the the reverse trip for work. And now I want to move closer to San Antonio. I grew up in San Antonio and it has grown so much. Not the same at all.

    Hi.
You wrote The Uber driver to downtown was terrible and glad there were no accidents.
I had the same terrible experience with an Uber driver from Airport to the hotel. Afraid about my life.
Thank you for this great report.

Thanks, we live north of 1604 and find it far more busy than when we moved here. I would love to move further out but doubt we will get that far from the current doctors and medical center. We'll see where he ends up but hope it is in the area.

Thank you. This was the first Uber or Lyft driver that was this aggressive. All the others have been great. I especially like when we have great conversations on the way

Congratulations on the big finish; nothing better than ending on a high note. Of course, that will make the Vegas itch more aggressive :)

Thank you. You are right about the itch but next trip is NYE so not too long to wait.

Those transplanted ex NY cab drivers are at it again. Slow down boys, this isn't the FDR Drive!! These passengers aren't used to this sort of driving.:biker:

That may be it. At one point, he took to the right turn lane then jumped back into a tiny gap in the go straight lane. I think it got him up one or two cars. Each lane change was a jerk in that direction rather than a smooth transition into the lane. First Uber or Lyft driver like that.

Definitely a NYC cab driver move. Especially the lane change jerk. I should know, I used to be a cab driver here in the city.:cuss:
