So the food came fairly fast after the reorder and it was very good. I had the pulled pork tostadas and my son had the burger combo. We ordered a couple extra beers since we were waiting. Turns out, out food was comped due to the error and all we paid was two beers and the tip. Worked out great

No tea. [emoji43]. Last night we ordered asparagus at BLT and they were out. This is at 5:30. How can you run out of a main side?

Actually I had to leave. They were slow so the drinks were coming so fast. Had to go lose a couple cups of coffee and beers cause I couldn’t keep up

    Day 3 Saturday Recap

Sorry I didn't get continue to post or get this out yesterday. It was a whole day of travel. Instead of working on it from the plane I watched the free American Airlines movies and enjoyed the free drinks. Once I got home the twins were so excited to see me so, an evening of playing and reading them books. I'll need to upload the photos later from my phone.

Saturday got off to an early start as I woke up at 4 am and could not get back to sleep. I was pleasantly surprised to find a rather large number of hundreds in my pocket but I still got another marker against my front money. I always try to draw down the front money so that I don't have to send it back. The cashier told me I would need to come back and sign a lot of forms to send it back so easier this way. Son of Sands Fan is not an early riser if he doesn't have to so I didn't see him until probably 10.

Decided to walk to PH and work my way back. Stopped at the Ultra bar I think it is and fed a rather large number of 5s, 10s, and 20s into a machine while I got a cup of coffee and water to take to HL. I didn't actually play, just converted all the small money to a ticket. I found the last couple of trips that the drink service in HL has been very slow so now I bring it in with me like this.

I posted a few VP hits from PH HL, Gustav's and Paris HL earlier so won't add them here in the recap. After PH, walked back to Paris outside enjoying the nice weather. Weather this trip was great the whole time but I didn't really take advantage of it except switching casinos. I was headed to HL but stopped off at Gustav's bar for a bit. I already posted how slow it was that early and how super fast the service was. Best time to be here is early like this. SOSF finally caught up with me at Paris HL and we headed to the Burger Brassiere place a bit before 11. I was amazed the place was full but since they now open for breakfast I guess it has brought a lot of people in earlier. I posted about the food order error but the food was very good and they made it right by not charging us. I give them high marks for that. The breakfast thing must bring in a lot of business because there were multiple stacks of used dishes behind the bar and a manager in a suit was even bussing them to get it cleaned up,

After eating we went back to Paris and were pleasantly surprised to find the event registration opened early and was far better staffed than the day before. We got our little wrist bands for the evening event and free play. Apparently the lady helping us gave us table free play and not slots so she sent us to the cashier who politely walked us back to registration so the vouchers could be cancelled and re issued. I thought it was a nice touch on her part to hand hold us through the process as the event folks might not have understood it if I had to ask for it.

Oops time to get the twins up so I'll get this finished later

    Day 3 continues

After registering, we decided to move over to Cromwell so I could check out the gift shop and use up my RCs. i always take photos of the different bags and send to my wife to see if she wants one. This trip we decided to treat me instead so I got a real nice Nike-fit dry shirt with the Cromwell emblem on the sleeve. Worked out better as I only had about $70 and would have had to charge the rest of any bag back to the room in hopes of getting comped.

We stayed at Cromwell bar for a cigar and to visit with our bartender friends. As per Tringlomane, I played the only multiline on the back side of the bar. I think I only got one quad the whole time we were there. Before the evening event, we waited at the Paris HL and I got 4 Aces and a nice handpay which I will post from my phone

So about the event in the ballroom. It was packed. Registration told us the artist had signed 1600 prints of the painting they gave away so I am guessing everyone came. Food was really good for a ballroom event. Funny thing is my steak was well done enough for me and my son's was medium to med well as he likes it. We didn't tell them, they just set them down. Dessert was awesome, maybe because I have been off any extra sugar for a couple months.

Bora Bora was a Bust. They gave away 5 trips, 5 $10,000 FP, 5 $5000 FP, 5 $1000 FP and champagne. All I got was a stupid bottle of champagne on my last night. Too late to drink it and I sure wasn't taking it home, I did keep the fancy wine bag though.

But the gambling gods made it up to me after. I was at 5300+ Tcs so no need to keep accumulating them. Instead a posted up at a Miss Stud table. I was if for $500, then another $500 and maybe a third but I don't think so. After a good bit of play, I still had not got a no brainer. I'm thinking this is a bust. Then finally a pair of kings. I was joking with the dealer about never getting a 4OAK at this game and his first card was a king. Im excited cause trips pays pretty good. Then the next card was a king. I had just turned my trip complete around and had the first winning trip in many. I continued to play for a while and finally decided to move to Sullys bar to finish the night with a cigar and VP.

Being up that much I played $5 TDB, DW and DDB but to no avail. After the cigar and at least $1000 I decided to call it a night. I did have to go to the cage and draw down the end of my front money which I got in cash fortunately. Still too excited to sleep so got everything packed, money safely tucked away in a large zip lock baggy and off to bed.

So ended the trip up with a last minute hail mary win but still down for the year.

I'll post a few more photos later

    Until next time.

Thanks it was so great to turn the trip around at the very end. The trip before was a total disaster so this really helped

Maybe a second final note. Just checked my TR balance and looks like 1000 to 1200 more than I expected. Unfortunately I didn’t check after my final play Saturday night. Either I racked up a a lot on that last cigar or the Mississippi Stud table play gave me some

Thanks. This is the third trip that I have had a last day comeback at Bally's. First two were on VP and now MS. Unfortunately the trip before this one was brutal and I am still down for the year.

Yes 40 to 1. I was up a bit more but played down before leaving the table. Just having a good time wrapping up the trip and enjoying the win. Finally decided to hit Sully's for a cigar, some VP and final drinks before going to the room. Should probably have gone to the Lobby bar as I played very little there this trip. Sully's had Gentleman Jack I think. No Woodford.

Walking into the bank and dropping that zip lock bag full of hundreds for deposit was so sweet. That doesn't happen very often. Certainly not this year. Wish I had a photo of that money porn but.... convert my chip porn to green (money) and subtract the last minute losses equals :drunk:
