I'm looking to book a room at Sam's Town for 2nd week in March 2020, but at the moment all the offers end at the end of December. Is it worth waiting and does anyone know when they might be extended to March? I am not going to get any comps, so that's not a consideration.

I would rather book sooner rather than later in case they get booked up (there is a big conference in Vegas that week). Looking at their T&C I can cancel it and rebook without losing my deposit is this right?

    Thanks!

In my opinion booking later is always cheaper. Well, not always but once they get within a month or so they know what rooms are going to be filled pretty much so they drop the prices to fill the leftovers.

There is no incentive for them to give you a good deal this far out. Not like they will run out of rooms. of course with march madness in march it might be an issue but no way to tell.

There are 3 basketball conference championships ending/starting that week. WCC, PAC12 and WAC that I know of. There may be one more. All these before NCAA starts.

Sam's Town already showing real high prices for that week. As far as cancelling rooms, i know with comped rooms you can do it if over 24 hours but not sure if not comped.

My host said Jan/Feb offers for ST wouldn't be out for 2-3 weeks. I would go ahead and book the dates you need since deposit just holds the room. You will know well before March if there are any offers for you to consider.

I booked a comp room at ST for Super Bowl weekend a couple days ago. Surprised I could get a comp for the Friday and Saturday and only $25 for the Sunday. I didn’t have any other comps at other Boyd casinos either.

They're 10 miles apart. That's a bit more than right down the road!

for breakfast at low prices, including pancakes-----walk across the street and try the coffee shop at the longhorne-----dine in 'elegance' with the locals----you will save the $3 in gas getting to and from the fiesta

True. I always have a car and forget others may book a casino way off the beaten path without a car.
