    Anyone try this beer?

Just wanted to "brag" that I found a bottle at my grocery store (they actually had 2 bottles). I was walking through the beer aisle and for the heck of it, walked into the liquor store area to ask about it - knowing that the beer is 28% ABV or 56 proof. And because of the $190 price tag that it might be under lock and key.

She said yes! And pointed to 2 bottles behind the counter on the top shelf.

So I bought 1 for myself as an early Christmas present. The bottle included a code to get a free Utopias glass - $30 value but I had to pay $7+ in shipping. I can't wait to try the beer. The glass can't get her soon enough! You have to drink it in proper glassware right?!?

By the way I went back and bought the 2nd bottle. After I got home, I excitedly texted my friends of my find and 1 of them asked me to and go buy the other one for him.

Wondering if I should go and try to find another 1 or 2 to possibly sell in the future or maybe drink (if I like it). It looks like they appreciate in value. I saw a few from various years on eBay selling for much higher than $190.

I tried for a few years to get my hands on a bottle, but they apparently don't send many to Hawaii, and those that they do get kept by the shop-owners!

Nope. Way too poor for that. I start cringing when they start charging $10 for 22 oz. bottles. A good portion of those I've bought have been a bit of a let down.

I've heard mixed reviews on Utopias. I would be interested to hear what you think of it.

Congrats on the whale hunt first off, I have not had the 2015 but did have the 11,12 and 13, the the 11 was pretty decent, very boozy and huge dark fruit notes and oakiness from the multiple barreling, of the three it was the only one I felt would be worth the money as the 12 was pretty unremarkable honestly especially for the 10th anniversary brewing, more nutty and maple than the the dark fruits of the 11.. I am an investor in Brew Dogs new location and am waiting for the End of History brewing which I am getting a bottle of out of my investment level, 55% and the former strongest in the world, but that will probably be a year down the road at least.
