So just got email about the street feast promo for RW. It was earn 750 tier points and get a voucher on Wednesdays before. It’s now every day in Feb and invited guests don’t need to earn any points on Wednesdays.

750 tier points is just $250 coin in on slots. So great deal. It’s like a free big lunch every day you play. Only issue is which/when booths are open is inconsistent.

Ah, so that's why I was always getting those for free lol. I thought RW just loved me, but I guess it was because I always converted my FP when I first got there. 😆

Not going to deny this is a good deal. But it's actually not as choiceful as you'd expect.

I don't get a lot of RWs decisions. When you're losing in the hundreds of millions what's $1M more to keep ALL your food court options open everyday... it's a 1000x better customer experience for a trivial additional loss.

They aren't that far in the hole based on estimates being reported. The have to cut costs somewhere and I'm guessing its staffing. I do wish I could have gotten my preferred food choices in December but they do have a lot of booths so its understandable that they close some of them. I doubt anyone is gonna make/break their decision to go there on the inconsistency of the food court venues being open. I do believe they'll get more foot traffic with free food like this promo though.

They also started making it much easier to get comp rooms for players who hadn't been there in years. I took them up on it and enjoyed my stay very much. So much so I'm adding them to my rotation for Vegas visits.

last years I stayed 4 times at RW, all week days.
But never seen the Fish & Chips, or the Noodle place open. Not even once.
And I never seen anywhere it was mentioned that they were closed, not even at the stores, just dark all the time.

I had the Fish and Chips in December. The Fish was great, the chips were crappy food service fries. The noodle place was closed my whole trip but I know people that have eaten there so it must be open sometimes right?

I will find out if they open next week. It will be useless to me if they only open during weekends.

Looks like it was a Friday when Hans was open for me.

Resorts World is underrated from a gambling perspective. They have a $10 Roulette(00) table during the day and TWO $10 Roulette(00) tables at night! They also have 0.26% edge blackjack for $50. That makes RW the most premium casino with the best BJ for the lowest minimum on the strip!

Unfortunately, I think they suffer from bad word of mouth for 3 (valid) reasons:

- Hilton 400sqft rooms are just terrible for what they aspire to be. It's a midrange room in a upscale property. Makes the whole place feel cheap and the majority of people are staying in these rooms.

- The closed restaurants may not impact booking. But it's a downer when you're onsite. Again it makes to property feel cheap and not in line with what the aspire to be.

- The weird abandoned shopping mall. They really need to turn the empty hallway into their version of the Bellagio's conservatory or Wynn like flower garden. As it is, it makes to property feel cheap and not in line with what the aspire to be

I actually like RW. I think my preferences have changed to liking less crowded casinos. But there have been times due to jetlag I've been the only one on the casino floor. That feels a bit too weird lol.

The Hilton just needs to be removed from the property. OMG that room sucked and the lines and the service. Worst operation ever.

As for the emptiness, its why I like it! Its like its all there for me! Now would I want to spend my entire trip there? Nope, but its great for a few days to get out of the shit show of center strip. Walking around looking for a seat at the VP bar at Cosmo or The Tavern just to play crappy pay tables? RW it was just pick a seat and sit down and better pay tables.

Here we go again, agreed. Kind of.

I still won’t stay there because it’s just not my thing. (RW. In general.)

But for the record, I do agree with you, which is becoming annoying.

I can confirm that every single stall is still in business! They were all open when I popped in during NYE.
