 :thumbsdown:Oh snap! Possibly the last time Rush tours, and I'll probably miss out! Have always wanted to see the band in LV. The after concert parties are epic (or so I'm told) Any LVMB members going?

Vegas for sure, I'm also going to see the St. Paul, DC, KC and Phoenix shows.
    My wife thinks I'm crazy
I have seen them in Vegas four times, Pre and post parties are always epic.
Pull the trigger, this will be the last time you will get to see them live.

    Recap of pre-sale ticket purchase.

I arrived at work Friday morning with a little extra bounce in my step. My plan is to get on line and beat all the ticket bots and obtain the front row seats that I have always wanted for a rush concert.

I recruited three people in the office, OK, I’m the boss they didn’t actually volunteer. at two minutes to 10 Vegas time we all logged into the infamous ticket purchase web site and started hitting refresh. We clicked and clicked and clicked.

    Nothing, Nada, Nilch.

It’s now 10:12, I have been clicking for 12 minutes. Did you know that after 5 or 6 refreshes you have to figure out that cryptic code and reenter it? Knuckles swelling, finger cramping, I know that I have a blister forming, Finally, two seats are available. I purchase them.

10th freaking row on the floor.

Dejected that I was unable to get my front row seats for Vegas I had one more chance to get them at the Phoenix show. forty-five minutes later I regrouped my crack team of clickers and we began the task again. Same result I ended up with seats mid-way back on the side.

As I left work I was cussing all those ticket brokers who had already listed those front row tickets on line for thousands of dollars.
I decided to stop into the local casino and give the old “rules of parlay” a shot.

I didn’t take a picture of the four queens I hit at $1.00 level but right after I parleyed up to $2.00 I was rewarded with this.

Maybe I will still get that front row seat.

Finally got a couple of seats for this show. Really wanted VIP and was logged in right when they went on sale but wasn't able to get any. I'm sure it's going to be a great show.

Still holding out hope, such as a lottery win or something to get cash for tickets and trip (would make a weekend of it. Anyone have info on last minute ticket sales?

I'll be at the MGM show, seen them half a dozen times before but never in Vegas. Also going to go to one or two others, LA and/or Irvine.

Re: last minute tickets, stubhub will have tickets available up to the day of the event.

Just saw Rush for the first time.I like them, but never a wild fan. I must say their live concert was one of the most amazing shows I've seen,
trust me I've seen lots of music. They played for three hours and one short intermission. It was solid rock with a fine light show.I have
nothing but deep respect for that three piece bad ass band.

Some friends from the Rush message boards I post on are getting a suite at the Cosmo for a post concert bash,. These are tradition for the Vegas tour stop, and are usually one hellacious party.

Looking forward to the show. St. Louis and Tulsa reviews said Rush rocked the house.

I saw Rush open for KISS in a small 2000 seat theater in the early 70's (1975 I believe). Have seen them a few other times over the years. Always a good show.

I have seen Rush a few times and the last show at the MGM was amazing they played the entire Moving Pictures album and rocked out. They are some of the most talented musicians in the business, Geddy's voice is a little tired but it was an amazing show.
