The thread about playing low at the tables to generate comps : https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/index.php?threads/does-playing-very-low-at-the-tables-generate-comps.178517/ got me to thinking....... On my last trip to The D, I played almost exclusively craps, but the vast majority of my betting was just pass line and odds. I wasn't placing points, hardways, come bets, etc, regularly. My comps were nowhere near what I thought they'd be and now I'm seeing this may be why - I really didn't generate a lot of action for them with just the pass line/odds betting. While I'd never play for comps, as someone who has found craps later in life, I am interested in general rules of thumb to maximize comp value. If I'm going to bet say, $50 per roll, perhaps there are better ways to wager that which will provide more comp value. Thanks for the insights/tips/advice!
