Suppose my gf and I each have a $25 match play coupon. Would casinos let us play one on black, and one on red on the same roll?

Yes, I have done this before many times without problem. The only issue is if one person has two MP's and tries to use them at the same time with one on red and another on black, or another way for a guaranteed win. So long as there are two people, you are fine.

Good luck and enjoy the money :)

They may well let you do this, but if enough folks start taking advantage of this play I could see casinos curtailing these offers in the future. Match plays are already a positive EV option, so I would rather have some gambling fun instead of taking a small amount of “free” money.

My local let's you split them on black and red with no issue. Don't need two people. Sucks to see that this isn't the norm.

You can do it, but where's the fun? Let it ride!

The zero or double zero will take all of your money. Some people like to hedge their bet by playing the zero double zero along with the red black bet. Personally, wife and I go for the gusto. Red even, black odd, etc. Still a good chance one of us will hit for a profit and when we both hit, nice little payoff.

House edge is the same and you're simply trading variance for some possible heat from a pit critter.

Some will allow it, some will not, but either way your move will be long forgotten shortly after you try it.

However the personal shame of scardy-catting your two matchplays will live forever!

i see no reason why the casino would not allow TWO individuals to play TWO distinct and separate bets with their own matchplay coupon/chip

if you are that concerned, just walk up to the table separately and put down your bets
then for some fun, you can start hitting on each other and act like you are two strangers hooking up at the table
