    This could be a legitimate issue, I didn't even think of it that way! Who's to say a couple of no good people dress up in suits claiming to be security and robbing people after they let them into the room.

    The devious part of me wants to disconnect the room phone and hide it in the room. Let them come in to check and then not be able to call in to verify that they have checked. If they claim I stole the phone, I'll just show them where it is.

    What you should do is look over their shoulder and see what number they're punching in.

    LOL, if you time it right, whoever checks the room will file a report, tell a supervisor, etc. that the phone is missing. Then (your timing needs to be right) quickly and discreetly replace the phone so when the supervisor checks it, it will be right there where it belongs. :)

    Yea...the phone is hidden right next to some bad stuff....
