Why are there different prices for the same comp rooms for a particular hotel?
For instance Excalibur has a midweek comp room bonus for 15,000 LP's and then one click of the arrow over, you see midweek comp room (without the bonus) for 25,000 LP. What's the difference?

Here are the calendars. It's linked in the reward

    http://www.mgmresorts.com/myVEGASdates/excalibur.aspx

The 25,000 one is available virtually every day, versus the 15,000 one is available maybe 3 days a month. The bonus dates are probably extremely slow days in Vegas would be my guess, so they can offer you a better deal.

FYI.... I redeemed LPS for a weeknight comp and a weeknight bonus comp. I called and booked my dates and they put them together as 1 reservation. It was super easy! :)

Combining 2 users' reservations was very easy. Also checked the dates and all of my dates I'm looking at going back are bonus dates, so that's awesome.

I chose a weekend bonus room also because it was available the night that I was needing and was much cheaper than the regular weekend room at the same hotel. I purchased the comp from myvegas first, then I booked my room online for Sun-Mon-Tues. I then called MLife at the number they gave me in my email. She was able to verify that the comp was available on my selected date and link it to my other reservation via the confirmation number.

I was pretty nervous about the whole process but the MLife lady was really nice and it was fairly easy to book.

I also booked a bonus night room, and had zero problems with linking reservations even though we were staying at two different properties that trip. Mlife/MyVegas Redemptions has great staff. I wish I got his name, he was fantastic. Tried to beat our current pricing for our stay, made a note requesting an early check in since we were moving from MGM to Aria.
