This guy in the pig mask robbing the Rolex shop at Bellagio.

I wonder how many people there felt, "I've never felt unsafe on the core of the Strip. Especially since you can duck in a casino if anything starts happening"?

Wonder what they think now?

That is fucking nuts. Sounds like a smash and grab, it happened just before 1:00am and the store closed at midnight.

The shots fired was not true. I assume they heard the sledgehammer smashing the glass on Rolex store windows.

Not sure if I understood this correctly but no one in their right mind will feel unsafe on the core of the Strip. The overwhelming majority of people live in countries where A) a person is free to go everywhere and B) they can own a gun. Thus anything can happen anywhere, that's something we have to deal with. Sure there are places where something is bound to happen more often than somewhere else. Is the Las Vegas Strip one of them? No, it's a safe place.

Again, that is if I understood the post correctly.

So you think the people who reportedly heard shots, and fled from the hotel felt safe? I'm guessing that they didn't.

I made a comment earlier in the week, that the shell of safety that surrounds the tourist areas of Las Vegas is eroding. That isn't to imply that you need a bulletproof vest and a weapon of your own if you are a guest in town. Not yet, anyway.

Sigh, of course people will feel unsafe when something like this happens but that "the shell of safety is eroding"? Really? LOL. What about other cities where robberies occur a bit more often than in the heart of the Vegas Strip? Sorry but you're being delusional.

You sure go a long way to prove a point. How much did that pig mask cost?? ;):poke:

Why would they choose Bellagio other than to say they robbed the Bellagio even if it was the rolex store. If you are going to do a smash and grab lots of other places in Vegas with less security and the same quality of store. Like Crystals possibly.

Then they run to their car and it doesn't start? Wow.

So much for the theory that cameras follow you everywhere. If they can't catch a guy in a pig mask on their cameras, there might be a problem.

One of my neighbors pigs went missing a few days ago! :ssst: Looks a bit taller on camera, though.

The authorities have a short list of suspects that they're checking out:

Kevin Bacon
Jon Hamm
Miss Piggy's half-brother Kurt

RICHARD

Just a guess, but probably because that store is only a few feet away from the parking area. Potential quick getaway
