This was my first visit since June 2020 or so, when they first reopened after the lockdown.
Back then, the slot selection hadn't changed other than every-other-machine-turned-off to implement some kind of passive social distancing measures. I had a free afternoon, so I stopped by Friday. Unfortunately, they eliminated most of my favorite slot machines there.. replaced with a gaggle of new machines from Incredible Technologies.

This is based mainly on what I recall the old setup was a year ago.
    • Starting with the main entrance area and looking left, the 4 WMS progressive slots are gone (Hercules, Black Knight II, and 2 others).
    • By the Rush Rewards desk, the 2 Wicked Winnings III machines and the Genghis Returns machine have been recoded as nickel denom, which means min bet is now $2.50 instead of 50 cents. The WWIII machines have also been moved to the area by the rear entrance. No idea what happened to the Temple of Jade slot.
    • Couldn't seem to find any of the original Bier Haus machines (WMS) and other WMS titles. These seem to have mostly disappeared.
    • There was a cluster of older nickel denom slots by the buffet: Wicked Winnings I, Heart of Vegas, Pompeii, Brazil - gone. Other older slot cabinets with penny denom also gone: Queen of Atlantis, Whales of Cash, Shaman's Magic, etc.
    • I saw an older slot cabinet recoded as dollar denom in the HL room: Flame of Olympus.
The website mentioned an outdoor slot area in the HL room, but I couldn't find where that was. Maybe that's where some of these "disappearing" slots ended up?

The only improvement to the slot selection were three Wonder 4 Wonder Wheel slots (Buffalo Gold, Timberwolf, etc) at penny denom in what used to be the main entrance valet area (now closed off due to construction). It's very quiet and isolated, which is actually quite nice. Prior to this change, I think these slots were 2 cent denom (min bet $4).

This is my pet peeve about casinos in general! It seems like they are always replacing popular and played-a-lot slots with Latest And Greatest (tm) and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Having said that, until this past LV trip, Rivers was my least favorite casino of all time. Now it's a toss-up between Rivers and Circa.
