Saying Good-bye to Star Wars Royalty is always tough!

Seeing Princess Leia on-screen always made my heart a-flutter!
(Especially certain scenes from Return of the Jedi)

RICHARD

I wonder what that means for the Star Wars sequels. I heard she had a bigger part in part 8. Perhaps shooting is complete.

We never know when or where or how we are going to die. I think if Carrie had her heart attack at home instead of on a airplane I think she would have lived longer I am guessing. There was too much lost time on not being treated right away.

When my time comes I hope I die a quick death in a bed.

This thread is about Carrie's death and not about me. But it makes me wonder about death and how we never know when we will all die.

Yes, Carrie will always be remembered as a Movie Star of Star Wars. She was actress Debbie Reynolds daughter.

I was really hoping she would pull through. Dammit. Another one of my childhood heroes gone this year. :(

Sadly she picked the one place not to be when having a heart attack. The time lost while in the air was probably the determining factor. Feel bad for Mrs Reynolds having to bury a child. RIP Princess.

  • Multi-card five cent keno here i come!

Reports say her parts have been completed and she will be in episode 8. Unless she gets killed off in 8 though, tying that into 9 might be interesting...

Been a rough month. Ugh.

RIP Carrie. :(

One of my favorite scenes from Blues Brothers.

Hell.....I didn't know Debbie Reynolds was still pumpin' ?

I never "got" the Princess Leia thing ?
Ross, on "Friends" sure did !......funny episode.

As my wife said, "It was better she had the attack on a plane than alone in her house."
