My wife and I are booked for the RIO from 7/14/17-7/17/17. The RIO is giving me a really good rate for all 3 nights so it didn't occur to me this was a busy weekend. We are not poker players and did not realize at the time of booking that the World Series of Poker will be winding down that weekend. Is this the biggest weekend of the tournament? Will the RIO be packed? Did I screw up by booking this hotel at this time?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

If it were that nuts you wouldn't have gotten a good rate.

2 guests one from March and one from april. Title says guests relocated, which there is none of in the story or anyone else reported.

I stayed at Rio during WSOP last July and it was honestly dead in there so I wouldn't worry.

The Rio has some extremely large conference rooms that I am only guessing that that is where this will be held. They are all off the beaten path so you should be fine. Again, I am only assuming that is where they are going to hold WSOP. Anyone have different info? Please feel free to correct me.

Maybe not this year. Looking forward to 2021!

The whole 2+ month tournament will be wrapping up when you're there. There won't be that much going on. The main event starts Jul 8.

We were booked at the Rio, but we cancelled when the news came out about the Legionnaires disease. We rebooked at other Caesars properties, so far hope for the best. But may end up on Boulder highway... or not going at all.

If it starts the 8th, rio definitely won't be packed.

It's held in the conference rooms, yes.
