I don't know who's in the current lineup but I've seen 2 versions of his All-Starr bands and both were one heck of a show.

How come the old timers can sing live but the 20 year olds lip synch?

I saw him a couple of years ago in Tunica and it was a great show.

I saw them in Houston at AstroWorld, really fun show! I bet it was 20 years ago. I remember Peter Frampton was in the band.

Ringo Starr......As far as the Beatles go, I rank him behind Yoko.

Because the 20yo's are probably "dancing" along with lip syncing. And they probably didn't write the original lyrics anyway, so they have a hard time remembering them.

I agree but the show is not just Ringo it is a lot of members of other bands of the era ,who were the lead singers or great musicians. Look it up on Wikipedia to see all the people who have been all stars.

I understand that. I'm just saying Ringo is the luckiest "musician" on the face of the Earth.

I'm sure a drummer named Pete Best would agree with you.

He has some excellent players in his band - The band features multi-instrumentalist/art-pop singer-songwriter Todd Rundgren, keyboardist Gregg Rolie (Santana, Journey), guitarist Steve Lukather (Toto), bassist Richard Page (Mr. Mister), woodwind player Warren Ham (Bloodrock, Kansas) and drummer Gregg Bissonette.

I think Ringo is a tremendous drummer. He may not be the most exciting, but his feel is amazing. The Beatles would have been great without him, but they would not have been complete.

Ringo's son Zac was in fine form last night playing drums for The Who in Glasgow.

Tickets booked for the Ringo and allstars gig on the 20th.
