@Flowers In your honor, I just finished some brief micro-rolling on Ultimate X on the floor at Encore. The machines are warmed up and waiting for you.

Good morning! Slept about 3 hours. I want to sleep some more but Vegas awaits!!

As an aside, I think I recall Westin hotels having something call "Dream" beds? This bed is amazing. As soon as I laid down I felt amazing. If I needed to buy a mattress I would buy this one in a heartbeat. Wow.

    Vegas in a few hours!

Good morning and glad you finally got out of Buffalo, your predicament was the first thing I checked when I woke up. Having taken many flights from there over the decades, I've never experienced all those hours sitting in the airport as you just did, and couldn't even imagine that long, was usually just an hour or so for deicing once boarded. Buffalo always gets pounded so bad with snow every winter since it gets a lot of extra lake effect snow from Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. But so glad you got to spend the night in a comfy bed instead of slumped over in an airport seat. In about 7 hours you'll be landing in Vegas with much nicer weather, no snow, and the fantastic exhilaration of the beginning of the trip with all the possibilities and experiences just waiting for you. Have a wonderful trip with only good things from here on out, and I look forward to following another Flowers adventure!

Thank you for reminding me why I moved to Florida 30+ years ago. I’ve been here so long the memories of cleaning off the car and sliding down the road fade.

I know that your sunny outlook and the staff at Wynn that appreciate you will make this trip fabulous despite the rocky start. Win or lose, once you arrive it’s pampering time. Best of luck

So happy that you can get out this morning! I love that Detroit has the Westin connected to the airport. That is where we fly out of 99% of the time and I agree, the beds are wonderful,
    Now ...go get em'!

What a morning this has been. Everything has gone so well; just the opposite of yesterday.

It might not be Tableau but this was a very good room service breakfast delivered to my room in a Covid-safety way, i.e. via a paper bag, with condiments in plastic bags, etc.

My meal was 40, which is what my pot of Wynn room service coffee cost during my last trip. I tipped 20 in cash and the room service delivery person was very grateful and said they had gotten busier because of the snow. Lol.

Check out was a breeze and I went through the special screening entrance that is right at the hotel that was mentioned.

When I exited the screening the first gate I saw was my gate, A 38, which is across from the amazing Delta Sky Lounge, which is where I am at the moment enjoying OJ, Earl Grey tea and water with lemon. This couldn't be a more perfect morning.

The flight is on time and the gate attendant encouraged me to enjoy the lounge and come back around 8 (a 1 minute walk away) for my 8:30 flight.

It's already starting out as a FANTASTIC day!

OMG. That security checkpoint was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! And they honor TSA Pre so I didn't have to remove my laptops or shoes. I literally went from my room, checked out, went through security, and arrived at my gate in less than 10 minutes.

I checked my 3rd bag at the gate so I just have my purse and coat. This is what it feels like to travel light. Lol. Very nice.

The rest of my Clorox wipes are in my bags so I used some of my Wynn sanitizing wipes to clean.

I was the last to board by choice and it is so great to be seated with no one next to me. This is not MINT but it is comfortable. I think the Delta version of MINT is Delta One.

Years ago on a particular trip I just couldn't be bothered to pack, so I flew to LV long haul with a small laptop bag for a 2week trip. I suspect you aren't quite ready for that yet :) Obviously the next morning I headed to the outlets and bought a suitcase and 2 weeks of clothes, so no issue. Made me realise that for travel, I need a passport and some money; everything else can be procured.

Interestingly, I got some heat from security at both ends ~ would have figured it wasn't THAT uncommon.

So sorry about the issues in Buffalo. That’s what happens when their football team is good, the weather turns to worse [email protected]#t. Glad to see the shift towards good luck is in full effect. Safe flight and looking forward to numerous monster handpays. Oh, and killer food pics.

Onward to Vegas! The worst has to be behind you! I hope that snow isn't headed this way. We just melted the snow from the last one, do not want to replace it!
